At first, I thought the Robot Chicken thing was the titans crossover. And as long as they use the OS style or the current DC animation, then I'm interested.
"We be we baby!"Poor Cyborg is going to be so confused at who to punch. Whichever team he's associated with changes with the day of the week.
10 bucks says the Teen Titans here will be Robin, Cyborg, Raven, Beast Boy, and Starfire and the movie will play the "Role Reprisal" card and have Scott, Khary, Tara, Greg and Hynden reprising their respective roles from TT '03 and TTG.
I'm really hoping for a different lineup, but you're probably right about that.
At the very least, the only way Khary Payton wouldn't be Cyborg is if this were in the same continuity as Justice League: War.

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.I'm guessing this is going to be a loose adaptation of the Technis Imperative storyline from the 90s.
Is this related to Justice League or Teen Titans Go
It's a DC stand-alone entry, I believe.
"We be we baby!"I doubt they'll go back this far, but the Wolfman/Perez Titans did briefly fight the Justice League over Raven. Raven, apparently, originally approached the JL about Trigon and all, but Zatanna sensed the latent evil in her and the League sent her packing. She then set about to gather up the Titans.
. . . This better not end up like Avengers vs. X-Men. Cause this concept sounds eerily like that three to five month waste of time that should of just been a fan made fighting game for people to enjoy instead of a canon crossover event that raped so many characters (not actual rape, just ruining their personality for the sake of a cash grab).
Ultimately, the lineups of each team is what my interest hinges on. I'd love to see Superman vs Kon-El but they like to pretend the post-Young Justice era Titans never existed so I wouldn't bet on it happening. I anticipate Supes sitting this out so they can have Martian Manhunter fight Beastboy or something.
I don't know how this is an even fight when half the Titans are low rent copies of the Justice League.
You fell victim to one of the classic blunders!Never underestimate the Titans. These guys have saved the world just as often as the League.
Comparing the times the teams as unities have done it, yeah, maybe. But Superman by himself has probably also saved the world as many times as well. That's one massive advantage the League has over the Titans in that regard; almost every member of the core League has saved the day in solo adventures just as often as well.
I agree. Most of the league have at some point save an entire world by themselves with no help from other teammates and dealt with Earth shattering crisis on a daily basis (especially during the Silver Age where Crisis crossovers then were usually a two part comic rather then a multi issue event).
So far the only teammates who are close to doing such feat are Donna Troy (in that comic which reveals that she is some sort of ancient star child and later go by the name Troria) and Starfire (in that Red Hood and the Outlaws comic where they go to space). Both characters had help in saving the world from their teammates.
So?
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.First (very tiny) screengrab◊.
Looks like the Titans are Damian, Starfire, Raven, Beast Boy, and Blue Beetle.
(Looks at screengrab.)
Cripes, that is tiny.
But regardless, yeah, those do look like Damian!Robin, Raven, Starfire, Beast Boy, and Blue Beetle.
I wonder how will the casting go like. I imagine getting Tara and Hynden to be Raven and Star would be a no-brainer, but they obviously can't have Scott Menville as a Robin who obviously looks like a 10-11 year old. And the same can be said for Greg Cipes as Beast Boy. And I wonder how people liked Blue Beetle's portrayal in Young Justice, because they might either get the guy again, or find someone else...

Uh, screenshot doesn't work for me. Whole site doesn't work for me.
Animated Damian is so awful.
I remember Greg Cipes complaining that they were casting new actors for the Teen Titans in one of these movies, so I'm not expecting reprisals for Starfire, Raven, and Beast Boy, at least.
Latest blog update (November 5th, 2022).I'm surprised they went with that lineup in the first place, especially since they're using Damien.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain. Not my ideal choice for lineup. They went with Titans who, with the exception of Damien, do not have a mentor in the League. That kills a huge amount of the drama of them having to fight someone they have a connection to. That, and they're the Titans that already get a ton of exposure.

That's basically it, I think. We're seeing the same Titans who were already made popular again (minus Cyborg, who's with the League now), plus Blue Beetle who DC has been pushing in lots of other adaptations. It's a popularity lineup rather than a adaptation lineup (kind of like the lineup for the Cinematic Justice League).
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.Yeah, those reasons are why I'm not exactly excited for this film.
