I feel like we are losing a lot of good stuff (the game is getting more arcade and combat oriented) and this game is going to make mistakes, like generalising the history and all, but I really like the name of the city of Glass. So man, I think you probably was thinking into the more futuristic Catalyst when you wrote about the armor? No problems about it, it's near future, but we might just change the material (no worries here - as long as everyone is concerned there were only nonlethal ammo used asides from the Chopper's machine gun).
The grappling hook is alright though.
About your skills, I think it's fair to assume you trade the more technical aspects of the Purples like hacking and so on, along with some of your sprinting capabilities for more decent fighting skills. Is that right?

I was trying to think of something that would make sense in both the original Mirror's Edge and Mirror's Edge Catalyst. But leaning more towards Catalyst. But I see that this thread is more inspired by the original Mirror's Edge.

Yes. Traded the more technical aspects and some free-running expertise for a better combatant.
Daniel is able to assist in things like hacking, and DDOS-ing, but he can't do all of it by himself. He's not the best runner either. He is mostly more of a scout and combatant than hacker.

Let's say Runners Lena and Will are handling some heat at a crane at the harbour, so we might handwave that Drake sent you to help securing them. Feel free to just drop into the platform they are with yourgrappling hook with an heróica entrance or something like that.

Hey Daniel! I'll need some edits from your last post, please
- First of all, the guards you're fighting against right now are using no guns. They're from Silvine Security and Pirandello Kruger kind of boycotted them by prohibiting them from carrying any. But they can have any kind of army/ mostly blunt weapons that you'd like.
- Second, the Runners you're helping are Will and Lena. Will is an NPC, and Lena is played y f1r3lemmon. There's no telling what their state is yet, but they're probably not passing out so soon.
- 3rd and last, I accept world building to some extent, since this is a parkour RP. But! Please don't do any autohitting. Avoid automatic success sentences, even more so when on combat, please! These guys you can see that they're not that well-trained, but nevertheless can you please edit so the sentences are more about what Daniel intends to do or what he is about to do than him just plainly making it? It helps keeping the RP fun and challenging ;)
Other than that, the energy you're passing on your posts are just fine!,Can you please edit your posts to "correct" them?
