Finally opening this one. The current may not represent the trope all that well, but it works well enough visually for me to at least be a weak Keep Until Better Image Suggested.

Same; Keep Until Better Image Suggested.
I also say keep until better image is suggested.
Bigotry will NEVER be welcome on TV Tropes.Keep Until Better Image Suggested for me also.
The trope descriptions for both tropes could use some clean-up though; if I'm reading the descriptions correctly then right now Reconstruction is being used for what is effectively Genre Reconstruction while Decon-Recon Switch is "Reconstruction but in one work". A reconstruction by definition requires deconstruction to have already happened, so the name doesn't help, while "in one work" is a distinction that's so broad (obviously, all tropes appear in a work) that it effectively folds into the parent trope.
ETA: Deconstruction says Decon-Recon Switch is "The point at which a work shifts from deconstructing a genre to reconstructing it." Yeah, looks like we're having some conflicting ideas about a weirdly-defined trope here.

To me, the image demonstrates a restoration to the original incarnation, or at least a more modern interpretation of the character, after he received the Darker and Edgier treatment.
Even if we know it's intended to be interpreted as a reconstruction of a hero that had been deconstructed, the way the image's layed out implies it's more an example of a Decon-Recon Switch than this trope.
