That was a cute episode. I'm starting to get tired of "the bears take things too far" episodes though. It was okay the first few times but now the bears are starting to look bad.
That wasn't really the case in today's episode...
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.Randomness, you shouldnt share the name of sites where illegal leaks can be seen. Just say "They are available online". Mods could ban you if they see you do that.

YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.The problem is that Charlie doesn't cause problems for the bros.
What lingering financial, social, or emotional problems has he caused them? Given that there is no continuity or logic to their lives, they're just being jerks to him by being impolite w/o any reason for it.
"Show us the Galaxy Warp."Who says there's no continuity? Chloe and Nom Nom are still around and they very clearly remember their earlier encounters with Charlie.
And all things considered, they're not particularly impolite. I certainly wouldn't be very polite to someone who broke into my home and then dragged me into the forest for a "party" and then promptly forgot about me.

Charlie is a socially awkward being of chaos who just wants companionship, and lucky for him the Bears will take...moderate steps to sate that need.
Also yes the latest episode was freaking adorable. And I can not WAIT for the first time Ice Bear says his name.
I once saw an albino alligator in New Orleans. It had a double pupil in one eye, too.
That. Was. The best My Neighbor Totoro like episode yet!
"We be we baby!"Ice Bear is best Totoro.
I almost wish people hadn't pointed out that no one calls Ice Bear by his name. Because now, that's always going to bug me until we find out if there's a reason for it, or if it's just something the writers felt like doing. The same goes for him not speaking as a cub.
Him not speaking as a cub doesn't need explaining. No one calling him by his name is just one of those weird quirks in writing.
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. You've made your opinion clear. You don't need to be so pushy about it.
It's cool that you think I was any aggressive...?
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.I'm sorry, but it feels a bit rude for you to constantly shut down anyone who thinks that there might be a reason behind Ice Bear's behavior. I also find it offputting that you constantly state it as a fact, as though you're privy to the writers' thoughts.
Look, I get it. I sometimes get annoyed when I feel people are thinking too deeply about about a character's quirks. But I don't think it's necessary to always say "You're wrong" any time someone speculates on it.
I didn't state no fact, mang. I also didn't say there were no reason, I'm just said it don't need explanation. It...like most character based mysteries, are bound by law to be disappointing.
Basically. I don't see it.

YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. From awhile back
It's just a developing thing. He mostly tends to speak through actions anyway.
Not "I think" or "In my opinion". You deny that there might be any specific reason for why Ice Bear acts the way he does. And while no one referring to him by name is probably something that doesn't have a deeper meaning, that is something you stated as a fact.
To me it's very simplistic to say that all character related mysteries end up disappointing. There're countless stories that rely on character development and backstory to explain why characters are the way they are. This show managed to warm people's hearts by coming up with an explanation for why Grizz was obsessed with a giant burrito, why should I doubt the writers ability to think of an interesting reason for why Ice Bear is so...Ice Bear?

Oh yeah, thanks.
Actually, now that you bring that up of me bringing that up..it would make more sense to think about something like that if Ice Bear didn't really talk at all or if he talked more as a cub. and spoke less growing up
The fact that he talks now actually gives very little imagination for the possibilities being interesting to focus on...and considering how down to earth this show is, magic is out of the question...for now.

YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.Even if the writers don't intend any deeper meaning, speculation can be fun.
I just want to unravel the mystery that is Ice Bear.
To be clear, I agree that Ice Bear's behavior doesn't need an explanation, I just think if the writers wanted to, they could provide an interesting explanation that would add to his character.
Things like Grizz's flashback of being stuck in a tree, the cub episodes and showing how the bears came to live in their cave make me think that one of the writers intentions with the series is to slowly reveal how the bears met and how came to be where they are in the present. If not for all that stuff, I probably wouldn't have attatched any deeper meaning to Ice Bear not speaking as a child. I just would've been upset that they silenced the show's best character. (Don't tell me you don't want to hear Ice Bear's speech patterns in a child's voice.)
Excluding third person, it wouldn't be new to me. I spoke like that as kid all the time, very blunt and to the point because I don't like talking.
I certainly find Ice Bear relatable to specifically...especially the most recent episode.

YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.At this point I'm not sure if this is the type of show to go into a surprising explanation for why Ice bear speaks so little as an adult or why he didn't speak at all as a cub.
As has been said it doesn't really need to be explained but it would sort of be the show going the extra mile, which is always a bonus.

"Show us the Galaxy Warp."Just caught up with this week's eps. "Chloe and Ice Bear" was cute. Also, a new short:
Wow, people really did love them. But they love each other even more.
