The examples list and the above-the-line "see also" are sufficient for this purpose. We are not Wikipedia and do not need to cite external sources.

Many tropes could benefit from a "Further Reading/Viewing" list, recommending works with more in-depth discussion of the topic at hand. I've taken the liberty of starting one for Action Girl, but obviously I can't do that for every trope out there, so this is a general call for anyone who wants to help.
