"Mai, huh. Sounds kinda cute."
Reveir winks, before looking at Joshua again.
"Heh. Yeah. Heard from Verdana that you're one of those higher-up players in your server."
He then turns to Mai.
"Well, shit. That's just bad."
He then just looks at the Rat.
"Almost everyone in this place is here. And... ehh, it's not too dangerous. At least for now."
After a while, he notes the cold wind, but doesn't mind it for now.

Mai turns to the rat, displaying only the slightest surprise. "This place isn't what it seems. It's safe most of the time, but there aren't any of the people you would usually expect." Her systems alert her of the anomalous temperature/wind, while automatically keeping her immediate surroundings comfortable. She raises an eyebrow.
She gives the slightest blush at Revier's first comment, then answers both. "Thank you," she says, barely avoiding stuttering. "And it's okay... I never really had one. It feels like I did, but... I can hardly remember. Only fragmented memories. And I never really did."

When Neuff begins yelling, Reveir just proceeds to cover his ears.
"I'm gonna go deaf from your yelling, damnit..."
After a while, he looks at Mai.
"Well, I guess that's a relief in some way..."
He then just stares at the Rat again for some time, before shrugging and turning to the newcomer.
"...And who're you?"

"It seems you've been diverted," Mai informs the rat. "You'll probably be back where you should be soon enough, and with little to no time passed more than likely."
"Also, speaking animals are possible, but statistically rare among the worlds, besides humans and alien lifeforms."

"...Ah. No native world. Interesting."
*He turns to Reveir again, smirking faintly while idly toying with the handle of his sword. The plasma and blue flame ignite along the blade once more, conveniently providing a nice warmth to fight back against the cold.*
"Well, he's not wrong."
*Partially to prove a point and partially to warm up, he spins the sword around into a reverse grip, then spins himself forward and jams the blade into the ground, a few moments passing... suddenly, the earth below him erupts upwards in a torrent of molten dirt, thankfully all going upwards in just one direction, with WG!Joshua in the middle of the rising soil. It briefly obscures him from view due to the volume, until dying back down and just remaining as a pool of bubbling molten soil around him, with his clothing having shifted to form a sort of temporary armor, gradually returning to casual form.*
"I have my powers. They work."
The fact that only 140 characters are allowed here is honestly so disappointing to me.

He then turns to Wolfen.
"Uhh... your name, I mean. I didn't mean your whole life story. Reveir Celtrois here, by the way."
He looks at Mai.
"Heh. Well, you're living pleasantly now, so..."

"The cold which I might have interfered with slightly by liquefying the ground. Heh. Well, you don't happen to rely on a cold environment to survive, I hope? Because... this dirt is actually really well overdone in terms of cooking temperature."
*Confusing metaphors aside, he turns and walks to avoid having to stand in the middle of a puddle of molten soil, his "clothing" seeming to shift down to his feet slightly, as if it were a form of living armor...*

*The scan on his "clothing" would reveal that it appears to be a rather unusual blend of organic and synthetic materials, interwoven in such a way as to resemble blue fabric visually. However, the materials themselves, in particular the synthetic ones, appear to be structured as to provide the overall not-clothing with a high level of durability, rendering it all but immune to being ripped or burnt. Thanks to the organic materials, and a bit of cybernetic circuitry, the "clothing" appears to be capable of receiving information about the surrounding environment and reacting to it, especially the person wearing it, with the more organic sections having the apparent ability to regenerate even if it did somehow get cut. The scan would also manage to pick up on a concentration of nanomachines shifting between the armor and the person wearing it, seemingly performing a type of maintenance.*
