The man nods graciously.

"Call me Fenid. Who are you?"

"Yeah, I noticed they're pretty rare 'round here. More common where I'm from."

"This place in general has.... pitiful technology. Such a machine is rare."

Ler looks around, slowly approaching the group.

@Syme:Fine, I guess I'll use one of the twins (or do you want me to use both of them?).

The newcomer, Pietro, extends a hand towards Fenid.

"Well, Fenid, call me Pietro. So... What brings you here today?

"Well, yes and no. They lack a lot o' the usual Terran ingenuity, sure. But I noticed some things goin' on almost looked like Promethian tech. 'Magic' and such like."

"Ha, yes, magic. Such thing is common my world, albeit under a different name... and I'm its strongest user." he says, with much pride.

Fenid gladly accepts the handshake, smiling.

"I came here because I m— was interested in the stories regarding this realm."

"Okay... Seeing as you kinda cut yourself off and all, I'm betting that there's something you're not telling me."

Ler smiles upon hearing those words.

Baine ignores the boast, considering it irrelevant. "Yeah, where I'm from, what we might call magic's pretty rare. Nobody I know of's ever seen a Promethian, and stories say they all up an' left the galaxy. You hear stories every once in a while, of someone gotten hold of some artifact or another, but for most people they don't do nothin."

"Hum, a lack of chakra ? How dissapointing."

There's a moment of silence, before Fenid just sighs in defeat.

"...I miss this place, I have to admit. And, admittedly, Pietro, you didn't have to introduce yourself."

He then rubs the back of his head.

"...I apologise for all of this. This has given me quite a bad impression, hasn't it?"

Pietro just stares at Fenid in confusion.

"...I'm not sure I even know who you are, man!"

Ler sighs. "Pietro, calm down. No need for hard talk at this point. Already."

Beat

"Oh? Then you must have not met my present-day self yet... oh, I'm so sorry, this is such a mess..."

He smirks.

"The energy flowing around every living being in my world. The Sage of the Six Paths wanted to use it to establish connection between men but alas, Humanity's fanatisme for violence made them use such power to make the elements come forth. Humans using this energy could raise mountains, create towering infernos, provoke hurricanes... It is quite a powerful energy."

The man makes some little black ball and throws it away.

"But I'm here to... rectify's Humanity use of it."

Pietro sighs exasperatedly.

"Well, maybe this would make more sense if you just told me your present self's name already."

"My name is Fenid," the silver-haired man says, a little flustered thanks to how awkward the situation got.

Ler sips her liquid.

"Yes. Life is violent and deserve to be exterminated... but I'm not a vengeful god, I'll guide them to redemption."

"...Are you seriously this interested, my friend?"
