Depression doesn't answer Joshua this time, but he looks at Gina.

"Who is he, then...?"

Two bucks say it's Frigidus.

He frowns.

"His name's Nirthen. He's a skilled mage, so I bet maybe he'll be able to find a magic-related solution to your problem."

"Oh... is he a friend of yours...?"

Depression just looks around.

I'm a man of my word.◊

Joshua simply walks along with them.

"Well, I guess I'll tag along, if you don't mind. Not much else to do here."

"Yeah, we're pretty close. So, whaddya say? One telepathic message and he'll be here."

Gina looks at Joshua.

"Eh, I don't really mind the company."

@Pastry:I'll be taking those. -pockets the money-

"Okay..."

Depression then looks at Gina.

"It's ...alright."

Gina flashes a smile at Depression.

"Awesome! Don't worry, this wouldn't take too long."

She then sends a telepathic message to Nirthen, should he be around.

"Hey, sweetie, it's Gina. Listen, I have a problem that can't be solved my psychic problems. Want me to tell you what it is?"

He looks at Depression, whipping out his cellphone.

"Hungry?"

"I'm not really hungry... but thanks for the offer..."

Depression then just looks at Gina.

Oh? What is it? Hahaha, sorry for not talking to you often, but I was kind of busy making a potion...

Gina just smiles at Depression.

"Yeah, I've got him on the line right now, Depression. Just gotta explain things now."

She gets back to Nirthen.

"Eh, it's all good, though I have been missing you. But I digress: anyway, I've made this friend named Depression who's had this, like... Spell cast on him that locks his mood into, well, depressed. And seeing as you're a skilled mage and all, I was thinking that you could come over and lift that curse from him. Y'know, permanently get rid of the lock."

"Oh, right. My name is Yoshiya Kiryu, though I suppose you could just call me Joshua."

Depression just nods, before looking down.

"...I'm Depression."

Whoa, that spell's kinda harsh... I'll try to get there. Just give me a while.

"Alright, just be be quick. Love ya!"

Gina turns to Depression and lays a hand on his shoulder.

"Well, good news! Nirthen's on his way here!"

Then she looks at Josh.

"Oh, and I'm Gina, by the way. Just wanted to throw that out there."

Depression just nods again, before looking down.

After a while, Nirthen appears from out of nowhere, approaching Gina and the others.

"I'm here!"

He then looks at Depression.

"I hope you don't mind me scanning you."

He then runs a scan on the pink-haired man... and his expression changes to that of confusion.

"Is... something the matter, Nirthen? Y-You can help him, right?"

Turning to Depression, Gina just flashes a reassuring smile at him before looking back to Nirthen.

"...I can't scan the nature of it... whatever that thing is..."

Depression, upon hearing this, looks down.

Then, that mood of sadness begins to spread again, intense. Anyone near him should begin to feel down.

"Wha...? Impossible... Do you know anyone who can, though? You know some like, Gandalf-level mages, so I'd assume that you're fiends with at least some of them..."

Gina turns to Depression.

"Hey, don't go giving up hope on me... We'll find a way to fix your problem..."

"I could give it a go. We might need to use a Fusion Pin, though."

He frowns at the negative emotion.

The aura just seems to intensify even more, and Depression says absolutely nothing.

Nirthen, meanwhile, is obviously affected by the aura.

"I'm a Summoner, one of the strongest mages ever known... if I can't find out the nature of that lock, I doubt that anyone else is capable of doing it..."

Gina just seizes Nirthen by the shoulders and looks him in the eye, doing her best to fight off the negative emotions.

"C'mon, sweetie, don't be like that. You're letting the negative aura get to you..."

She turns to Joshua.

"I don't know what a Fusion Pin is, but we might as well give it a shot."

Finally, the blue-haired girl looks at Depression and just gives him another smile.

Nirthen turns to look at Gina, slightly confused.

"Aura...?"

And then he suddenly casts a Mental Block on himself, Gina, and Joshua to block out the aura.

"...It looks like you're right."

Depression just looks up at Gina, but he says nothing.

"Right, then."

He closes his eyes. When he opens them, his eyes are a pure white, and white motes of light are floating around them. They all slowly float into one position, fusing together, and the more they fuse, the more the light mass glows. Eventually, right as the light starts to become too bright to bear, it fades almost immediately, leaving behind a single, pure white, pin. It radiates an unknown power. Joshua's eye are back to their normal purple.

"I don't suppose you all know how to use these?"
