@Montoya: I will not be revealing what exactly the cores are. As for the forms they will take... they can actually take the forms of Psyco's characters if they want.

Talk to me first about what exactly these cores are supposed to do first, Syme.

While I'm cool with the core taking on Archus' appearance, I'd have preferred it if you contacted me first

I'm fine with the Cores being able to look like my characters, with the exception of Cyber. For the sake of keeping his host a secret (since a Core could theorethically take on Cyber's appearance and take off the helmet to show who's underneath), I'd like for them to not to turn into him. (Doesn't mean they shouldn't be able to, just that they won't do it)

Yay, Isabel takes pictures of the Arena, mostly because people in her world are aware of it and wants to know how it's like.

I shall be posting the locations of the eight crystals as the man places them there. They can be taken by characters as they wish (and if they find said crystals), too, granting them abilities. However, at the same time, they will influence said character's personality.

The red crystal is currently in Jiu's possession. It will give the character the ability to control fire and heat. At the same time, the character will become more passionate and optimistic, as well as rather impatient and short-tempered. (It is involved with fire and heat. It is also associated with passion and impatience.)

The orange crystal is associated with earth and lava. It also represents bravery and stubbornness.

The yellow crystal is associated with light and electricity. It is also involved with justice, truth, and honor.

The green crystal is associated with nature and poison. It represents kindness and pacifism.

The blue crystal involves water and ice. It represents calmness and restraint.

The indigo crystal represents telekinesis and the crystalline materials of the earth. It is associated with empathy and concern.

The violet crystal represents the alteration of elements and the arcane. It is associated with insight and mystery.

The black crystal represents darkness and shadow. It is associated with elegance and aloofness.

The traits received can influence the character both positively and negatively.

ooo, now this sounds interesting.

So, with Lyle and Tourthal getting the Fire and Water crystals, that leaves the Air and Earth crystals. If anyone wants to have one of the characters, just send me a PM.

Just note that characters have to meet certain criteria in personality to claim the crystals. The Air crystal will only give itself to someone who is free-spirited and independent, for example. Each holder will also face a test that stresses those traits, in order to relight the crystal and increase the elemental magic powers it grants its holder.

Fail, and you are overtaken by the worst traits of that element, and that emotion becomes personified, with you as the main power source, now nothing but a husk with only those personality traits.

If a lot of people are interested, there are more crystals, but they haven't been created yet.

I only have two characters in the arena and one of them isn't supposed to be able to use magic (at least not for now). How can you people remember so many characters?

Tomas would probably be interested in the green or earth crystal, although some of the others could also fit to him. Getting a magic crystal would help him to regain his power, but I don't know how I'd handle a personality change.

I sort of mentioned an idea like this a long time ago, probably last year- there were elemental crystals, and you could use them to give you/enhance your elemental powers, but they had drawbacks that could overtake you. If you were overtaken, then you'd become something called a Half-Elemental.

EXTREMELY IMPORTANT GM POST

So, some of you may or may not know this, but this Friday marks the one year anniversary of this thread. Syme and I talked it over, and we want ideas from all of our lovely players on what we should do to celebrate this. It can be something small, or some thing crazy. Anything, really. You can post the idas here and the deadline for ideas will be this Thursday.

I hope you all give us some wonderful ideas!

Tournament, totally do a tournament. One char per troper
