Hey there (I'm new, so if this isn't where it's supposed to be, I'm also lazy...or lost or something)...

I was looking for a trope today, but despite all kinds of searches, I can't find it. It's probably out there somewhere (probably with a super weird name that only someone who'd get some silly reference would understand)...

Anyways, I was searching for a trope about animals (literally) falling from the sky (often because a wizard did it, or a tornado...supposedly), I've seen this trope pop up numerous times in literature and other works... From the toad/froggies falling from the sky in Summer Knight, to Sharknado (really), in Discworld (I can't point out a specific book, but it probably happens whenever witches or wizards get involved), in Hungary in 2010: http://romaniantimes.at/news/Around_the_World/2010-06-22/9357/Raining_frogs-newentry , and fish in a little town in Australia: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1254812/Hundreds-fish-fall-sky-remote-Australian-town-Lajamanu.html .

Anyways, there are more examples (I'm sure a good google search and some boredom could pull up more), and these all seem to point to a weird/mystical/strange weather phenomenon. If there is one, I'll drag myself over there. If not, I think it should be called "It's Raining Toads" or "Raining Cats and Dogs" (though that's usually not what happens, it's normally something like fish, frogs, spiders, or jellyfish and there is often a wizard involved)...
