"I will eat you!" WOLF then pings SILENCE. "KCIN gone rogue and he's sided with the Maxers. I know I'm in shock that he'd be such a traitor."

Since Wolf is in a blocking area. Silence hears nothing and continues to drive back, "Anyone got any ideas on what we could change about the truck?"

BRAINS - ALPHA COMPLEX KNOWLEDGE

WOLF tries to find an unshielded area to ping SILENCE from and send the same message over and over again on repeat until WOLF gets a reply.

Lanius groans. Of course Kcin fell out. Since when were any of their missions easy? He scoots towards the back of the truck, so as to not fall out, and says "Isn't there a speed limiter on all the vehicles? We should remove that."

WOLF stops pinging SILENCE and slaps his hand to his forehead. "I'm an idiot!" He then pings LANIUS over and over again wiht the same message until he gets a response.

Lanius raises his eyebrows at Wolf's message. "Oi, Silence. Apparently Kcin went rogue? We should probably get him posthaste." He then pings Wolf with "I told Silence, you can stop pinging me now. We're on the way back for you and Kcin."

WOLF smiles. "Hah! Knew I could count on you. Oh and I don't know where KCIN went. I was blinded by a video from Friend Computer when they took off."

'Next time... Can you mention to hold onto something before you brake?'

Gavin crawls into a corner.

TESLAA shakes her head, "We can't all go after them - if we do we may not be able to get the signal for Cold Fun truck back. And then we're unlikely to survive to another mission." She points out, "How about this - LANIUS and GAVIN, you can both go after the midgets, SILENCE and I will continue after the truck can meet up later."

"So, Nick, welcome to our gang." Max says. "I should warn you that things in CCN sector are getting rough. There's even rumors that Friend Computer is sending in trouble shooters, now that the Mysties stole one of it's Cold Fun trucks."

Maxie grumbles. "Stupid drug pushers... as long as everyone just stuck to steeling just what we needed to survive, Friend Computer was content to let us scramble around like cockroaches. Steeling the truck means we're sure to get squished."

"Trouble shooters, Eh? Yeah, sounds like trouble." Oh shit. His team. But Mysties, eh? Now that's interesting. "Mysties stealing a cold fun truck? I... Didn't know there was one. I didn't know this sector was in such rough shape... I come from VIL, some guy named SURLY was terrorizing it for the longest time. I think a team of trouble shooters killed him and nearly caused everything to explode actually... Fled as soon as I heard it would. 's How I ended up with those guys stealing the truck, lucily I got a laser pistol out of it! Not a very good shot though, Aha." Oh man, this cover story was going to cause so much shit. Grrr... Kcin needed to tell of the lead he just got, but was promptly stuck with a gang of midgets. Still, they weren't bad people.

"You'll want to stay away from trouble shooters." Max tells you. "We were going to get a tank of water one time... figured it'd be an easy score. Usually delivery people will just hand over the good, since that means they can go home early. But this time it turned out they were trouble shooters in disguise and we all lost a clone to that."

Maxy and Maxine both nod in agreement.

Max yawns. "If you don't have a place to crash, you can sleep here." He offers.

Gavin goes to pick up Yotsuba. The wooden lawn gnome has somehow landed on the table, the bottle of olive oil in its outstretched arms.

Lanius meanwhile has gotten up the glue gun and laser pistol.

When the truck slows to make a turn, the two troubleshooters jump out, landing safely.

Unlocked Achievement - EVER SPLIT THE PARTY

Silence continues on, "Blackjack. Get ready, Violence may be needed," he notes as he continues driving off to to the last Tricorder location.

Oh shit. Kcin killed 2 of these guys earlier, he didn't know they were the same midgets. They didn't recognize him, he didn't recognize them... The offer to crash here came out but really, he had no way of accepting that. Still... The situation they were in... He had no idea some places of the AC had it so rough.

"Eh? Well, I appreciate the offer. Can't stay for the night though. I've got some business to take care off, now that I'm free. You three are kind though, a rarity once more in AC... I find it sad I'm no troubleshooter, I would've put in a word with FC for you if I was." Kcin got up and dusted off his jumpsuit after finishing his meal. "Thank you for your hospitality. Do you mind if I'm heading out?"

"Oh." Max says, looking dejected. "No, we get it. You don't want to hang out with us. I just had hoped you weren't one of those size elitest."

The tricorder signal gets stronger as you approach an area where two corridors cross. At the intersection, you find a large group of IR Citizens swarming the Cold Fun truck, getting paper cones full of drugged Cold Fun.

Silence sighs, "Blackjack could you try and intimidate them away?"

Kcin crossed his arms, frowning now. "Size elitist? Seriously? Who DOES that. Listen, I'd want to hang out. But I don't have any skills to offer this group, nor do I have the time to sit around. I really just can't stay. Tell you what, though. I know where this place is, I'll stop by for visits if I'm less busy. You three seem like really cool people." Better than my team, really. Kcin thought.

Black Jack climbs out of the truck and marches stiffly over to the large crowd of people arround the truck. He roars 1 3 5 1 3. A few members of the crowd sidle away from the robot, but most ignore him.

"Look, we get it, ok?" Max says. "You think you're too good for us, but you don't want to be the bad guy, so you 'say' that you'll 'come back', but we both know that's a lie. It's like they say, never trust anyone over four feet tall."

WOLF gets bored waiting on help and decides to investigate while wandering in a random direction.

"Seriously? Are you guys that insecure? Listen, if I were a size elitist I wouldn't event try to talk to you guys, let alone say you're actually cool people. Like, fuck. Agh, whatever... I'm leaving. Man, and here I thought some niceties were still in AC..." Kcin got frustrated at the three midgets, he genuinly didn't mind them yet his mission takes priority and suddenly HE is the bad guy. Jeez.

Lanius attempts to retrace the truck's path in order to find where they left Wolf and/or Kcin.

Roll Alpha Complex Knowledge.

TESLAA frowns. "Can you get Blackjack to physically move some of the IR citizens. That could scare the rest too." She suggests to SILENCE, then leans over to his side and beeps the horn loudly hoping to scare a few more.

Wolf wanders arround 5 3 5 2 2 2 and finds a large cardboard box abandoned by the side of the corridor. Someone, in a childish scrawl, has written the words 'Duplicator' and 'Transmogrifier' on the box, along with the names of several animals which (since knowledge of animals would be treasonous) Wolf doesn't recognize.

Lanius searches and finds 3. 0 brains, 0 AC Knowledge he's been wandering around in a circle. Maybe he should try using his implant to contact someone.

Gavin wouldn't usually question a superior citizen, but he was getting the distinct feeling they were walking around in circles. And when every step was painful, it was hard to keep a smile on his face. 'You do know where we're going, right?'
