Mercel sighed, releasing the tension she had felt moments ago, looking at the man. "Well... If you trust him, I'll allow him to follow, but do make sure he dosen't try any funny business, OK?"

Mercel began to make her way down the road towards the town, not as jovial as before, but she still had a smile on her face; not even that weird man could stop her from enjoying nature. She had forgotten to affirm this to the man, but he would be fine. He had been following her anyway.

He looks a bit confused at the fruit being thrust into his hand.

"Do I have to...eat this?"

Having seen the girl eat it, he decided it probably was, and tucked in. It was extremely sweet, but he liked that.

"Hey, this isn't half bad."

He followed closely behind the girl.

"Look, I'm REALLY sorry. I'm just nervous and all. If it's any consolation, you and the bird scared me completely out of my skin. You don't see birds that large too often in South Africa. Oh right, what's your name? I told you mine. Jacques."

"Rin. That's a nice name." Said Elize.

"As for defending myself... Probably?" Elize rubbed the back of her neck. "If we get in a fight, it'll probably be all you. Sorry."

Mercel jumped at being snuck up behind, again. She looked uncomfortable at the prospect of answering any question; making her shake a little at the forwardness of this man. Mercel took a deep breath, calming herself. Remember what tar told you, he wouldn't even be able to lay a hand on you.

Not even looking back at the man as she walked, she stuttered. "Pl-please, I don't want to talk to you, nor do I want to answer any of your questions."

At this point, Mercel could see the village in the distance, and sighed in relief at being able to get away from this guy. "Come on, let's go and meet the residents."

"I'm just trying to set things right. I'm wasn't meaning to do anything, I was just as scared as you were. Also, why does your feathery friend over there want me to follow it anyways?"

He keeps walking at the same distance, the same speed. He did not feel like making things worse.

Mercel didn't bother to answer the question of the man, but he did have a good point. "Did you want to protect him like me, tar? Or did you have another reason?" Mercel hadn't thought about it like that before; her friend could have been just trying to help him like he had helped her... That's nice.

Mercel had reached the entrance to the village at this point, admiring the choice of material. "It's so pretty!"

Jacques sighs when the girl doesn't answer him, and kicks up a small pile of dirt in anger.

"I give up. Goodness knows that you try to be friendly and apologize and they won't even accept that."

Sometimes I wonder why I try at all.

He stared at the village in front of him. Of course, it was just a village. Nothing to really get excited about.

Beggars can't be choosers.

Hayate gave Papa Monga a shrug as he finished off the Grog Eye. "They don't know what they're missing then."

Hayate did feel a slight sinking feeling when he considered the offer, thinking back to the various times he had to eat something that wasn't really supposed to be eaten anymore...but it really was the a pretty good deal; he'd get a roof over his head, a meal to fill his stomach, and the good graces of his hosts, who had been extremely kind to him so far.

"With an offer like that, it would be rude of me to refuse my host." the teen gave a laugh. "You got a deal, sir."

As the papa Monga prepared the dish, Hayate asked Timbey and Simber something he should have probably asked earlier. "By the way...uh, what's Grogma egg soup? "

"Hmmmg!" Susan didn't expect the lick to come and then had to wipe her face as she said "Well, someone or something brought me here from another world and if they can do that I bet they can talk to people in dreams... Still I don't really know how things work around here"

"I was told to stick to the road and go to the village of Houl'jin... which I don't know where it is. And to keep wary of the Grogs... which I don't know what they are... and that there may be more like me headed that way. Could you tell me... about this forest? Houl'jin, the Grogs and this land?"

If I'm sure of something it's that I'm not sure of anything.

Eventually, Rickie, Kirrian, and Cedric all arrived at the village after their rather long walk along the road. As with Hayate, they would see that the inhabitants were filled with bipedal bears all going about and doing their usual business. However, unlike with Hayate, they weren't greeted with such a friendly person but instead a grizzly looking male.

With a scar over one of his left eye that has turned white, the grizzly stares at the three of you with his one working eye. He is larger than any of you and he has two axes around his waist that look as if they could easily cleave through bone; this man is clearly a guard, or at least some kind of village protector. Giving you all a small snarl, the large creature begins to speak:

"More humans visiting our little village... what business do you have here?" he barked in a fierce tone. "Having just one human visit is a rarity... but four in one day? Now that seems a bit suspicious. Tell me, what business do you have with our village, humans?"

Then, at that moment, you hear a familiar voice in your head again, however it asks something that is completely unreasonable compared to how it spoke before.

"Kill the bear, he's in the way! Prepare to fight the oncoming attack!"

At the same time, you hear the same voice, but it asks you to do something else entirely.

"Convince him you mean no harm and get him on your side, we need him right now... the village is going to be attacked soon."

Something... Something isn't right. You're hearing the same voice in your head, but it's asking two different things? Whatever the hell is going on, you are for sure you are no longer crazy.

Looking up at the creature, you can clearly tell he has a short temper and an even worst attitude. This could easily turn into a unexpected brawl if you're not very convincing and seem suspicious, but at the same time you have the option of talking your way through this... and perhaps learning more of the other human?

But... what about the attack? What does the voice mean about this attack? Whatever it means, a decision must be made NOW!

Rin gives you a soft sigh before continuing forward. It would have seemed that she expected you to have at least something up your sleeves or some skill to fight... nonetheless the cat continues leading before pausing a bit at a blue feather that looks.. crushed.

"..." Without saying anything, Rin silently sniffs the blue feather and looks forward, noticing footprints of humans... and something far larger as well. "Seems as if there are other humans as well, but something else found their trail before we did and I sure don't think it was Bola."

Sniffing the feather some more, and widening her eyes, Rin suddenly jumps before shivering in fear, and bolting forward and recognizing the scent. "That's towards the village! Elize, hurry! We need to warn them!"

Meowing for you to follow, the both of you bolt forward towards the village.

Terrapin simply nodded his head towards Mercel, confirming that he wanted to help the boy as well before looking towards the village and noticing that there was a group of three other human-looking figures engaging in a conversation with a larger grizzly. Both Mercel and Jacques could see them from here as well if they looked close enough, and whether they would go towards them would be up to them... however, Terrapin on the other hand simply felt raised his head into the air before lowering it close to the ground.

Both Mercel and Jacques would see that their bird companion was suddenly acting strange, almost as if he was listening for something. Closing his beak as tight as he could and closing his eyes, Terrapin struck the ground hard and kept his beak into the dirt before opening his beak and staying perfectly still. One would think he was digging for worms at first glance, but in truth he was doing something else.

He could feel slight vibrations with his beak being a conduit. The vibrations got closer and closer... but they strange thing was that they were animalistic, full of rage, and almost as if they running with a destination in mind.

Then, he could begin to hear it with his own sharp ears, along with the sounds of things jumping from branch to branch.

Raising his head, Terrapin looked behind him and stared back into the forest as the vibrations became able to feel physically. Narrowing his eyes, the blue bird immediately flew and grabbed onto Mercel by her shoulders with his talons before he plucked up Jacques by the back of his shirt with his beak and flying a bit into the sky... before a massive creature swung forward with a single talon-like limb at the space where they at before looking up at the now barely flying trio.

Letting out a horrendous roar as the sickly grey creature's lower jaw splits open like a spider and as its one yellow eye stares at you, the creature immediately turns it's attention towards the village before using his mighty hind legs to launch itself towards the village.

Soon enough, eight more come roaring through from the forest, toppling trees and breaking boulders as the Grogs who were following the trail left behind by Terrapin for Jacques come charging towards the village of Houl'jin to hunt...

...the slaughter is about to begin.

Both you and Rin finally arrive at the border of Houl'jin, only to find that nine Grogs have suddenly bolted towards the village at high speed and ready for an all-out massacre. Rin looks up at you, and gives you a scowl, before looking back towards the village.

"We're too late... Those Grogs are going to kill a lot of people. Oh well," sighs the cat before turning back towards the forest, "they were nice people, but since the Grogs now know where they live, they will just keep on attacking. It was nice knowing them. If I was you, I'd stay clear of the village for a bit, wait till the Grogs clear it out and loot it for anything valuable before scavengers do. Sorry I couldn't do much more for ya, Elize."

With that, Rin simply curls up underneath the roots of a tree practically ignoring the village and waiting for what she believes ... While it is obviously cruel that she has given up hope for the village, but you can easily sense that she has her reasons for such a conclusion. Although, perhaps you could convince the cat otherwise and to assist?

As Pops goes off with a haughty laugh to go cook his dish, Simber gives you a smile before whispering,"You don't want to know, trust me."

"Mom! I thought it involved a Grog's Te-"

"You don't want to make him sick before he eats, now do you, Timbey?" spoke Simber as she patted her son on the head.

"Oh. Right. Sorry," murmured Timbey as he frowned a bit.

The two looked fairly happy, and including Pops you can't help but think that the three of them are a true happy family who would do anything to protect one another.

"Hayate, the village is to be attacked, and your skills... are needed," murmurs the voice in your head, "Ensure the little Cub dies, but make sure it is by the hands of the Grogs. Simber and her husband hold power in this village despite what they may look, and we will need them to finish off the Grog situation."

The voice asks something that is without a doubt terrible, but at the same time it makes sense... A father would want revenge on the killer on the one who kills his son, and if what the voice says is true, then having the support of the old man will definitely be a great boon.

However... something else that the voice says makes you confused.

"Hayate, something terrible is about to happen to the village, no matter what you are to protect Simber and Timbey," murmurs the exact same voice in your head as it gives you a contradictory order.

No. You are sure that you heard both orders correctly... and that both voices are exactly the same. Just what the hell is going on? Just whose order do you listen to?

The decision, is yours.

"This forest is simply a forest, girl, nothing more, nothing less. These are ancient trees that have stood since they were but saplings and seedlings, and there are creatures that have lived here for generations," spoke Bola as he gazed over the forest with a smile. "To be truthful, no creature here, or anywhere, is truly evil. Even the Grogs that everyone fear so much. They have mandibles and shoot webs from their mouths like spider and have talons like great hunters. They leap like monkeys and climb like them too, but they hunt like the fiercest predators ever. The worst part is that they hunt in packs like wolves as well. They used to be kind creatures until recently... I've been meaning to go to their nest and see what has been disturbing it, but they're so hostile it has been hard to enter."

"As for the village of Houl'jin, it is a interesting one run by the Monga, or bears that you humans call them. Two-legged as I am, intelligent as well, and very strong too. We often trade fur, leather, and meat... although, I wonder how they will handle things now..." murmured the mighty beast as Bola stood up tall and lifted his head into the air, taking a deep sniff.

"There is much I have to share with you little one, and it is rare I take a liking to such silly creatures... especially a human," spoke Bola as he disappeared into the branches to grab something, before taking out a rather large bow made out of some strange material.

Giving you a look, before smiling, the large lion pushes the bow into your hands. The bow is a fine one, and upon looking closer you can see that whatever wood it is made out of is clearly of magical quality. The bow string glistens under the sun, almost a transparent color. "My Mother's bow, Silvermoon, do treat it well as I have over the years. The bowstring never breaks, no matter how much strength you pull behind it, giving your arrows the strongest strike." Tossing you some arrows, Bola twirls his daggers before continuing to talk. "I'd like to see what a human can do firsthand from a place faraway, so show me what you can do by helping the village of Toul'jin. There are Grogs there right now attacking it, and if you need to get there, then I will take you there... as long as you can keep up."

And with that, Bola leapt onto the next tree, before looking back, waiting to see if you'd follow before continuing towards the village. The jump was easy for him, and the distance not that far... the question is, can you follow behind?

Kirrian held up his hands and let out a yelp at seeing the bear. His muting power was still on, but the voice in his head managed to break through...

"Kill!"

"Convince"!

Both of those were awkward, confusing and caused Kcin to get a headache. Tumbling backwards a bit, he fell on his but with one hand clenching the forehead. "U-Ugh... M-More people?" Dizzy from it and quite confused, all Kcin heard now was his own voice and everyone else muted out... Wait no. Something else. IN the distance. Faint. Very much so.

...Wait... Voices, danger and footsteps were it? Yes he... He concentrates on those three...

Kirrian suddenly jumps up in fear, but not at the bear in front of him. "T-Trouble..." Is all he could stammer out, looking behind him but seeing nothing. "T-Trouble... Something's... Wrong..." Again, stammereing those words and nothing more Kirrian starts to panic.

What did the voice say...? The village would get... ATTACKED? OH NO. A cold shiver ran through the guitarist's spine, his knees buckling. "I-I... Please... PLEASE! Something's wrong... I hear them... Something... Behind us..." Stammering out words again... Kirrian couldn't help it!

"Mr... Mr... Please... Trust me... Alarm everyone! So-Something's behind us, I don't know what! I hear them! S-Some creatures A-Are running here en-masse! Please... Please get help.." Kirrian spoke more clearly now, both of his hands clutching the other arm. His stare was wide and piercing, as if he's seen a ghost...

He watches in horror as he sees the strange beasts stampede towards town.

"We have to help them!"

He wiggles out of Terrapin's grasp, landing on the ground. He turns to face the beasts.

"I'm not going to let you hurt anyone in that village!"

He takes out the stick, facing them down with fear, but determination.

Mercel was whimpering in Terrapins grip, slightly swaying as the bird carried her. She really wanted to run away, to get away from whatever those things were, but... A determined gleam entered her eye. She couldn't just let the bear people die, she and her friend could help!

Looking up at Terrapin, she awkwardly pointed towards the village, still slumped in his grip. "Come on, Terrapin, we need to help them!"

Mercels instinctual desire to protect projected to her friend. Terrapin may notice his carrying capacity lower to the point of only being able to carry Mercel comfortably; his body becoming sleek and more aerodynamic to allow for speed and manuvarbilty.

Inn

Hayate gave a nervous grin at Simber's words. It can't be that bad...right? He thought, wondering what he got himself into.

And then the voice warned him of an incoming Grog attack, before presenting 2 choices: Leave Timbey to die at the hands of the Grogs to galvanize Pops and Simber into eliminating the threat, or protect the Cub and his mother at all costs.

The choice was obvious as he looked back at the mother and son. Timbey and his parents had been kind enough to provide him with food and a roof over his head, no questions asked. He would not repay them by leaving Timbey to die.

Simber, Timbey and anyone else in the Inn would see the teen suddenly tense, as if on guard. "Sir, Grogs are about to attack the village!" He spoke to Pops, an undercurrent of urgency in his voice. "You need to prepare!"

Elize looked at Rin disbelievingly. "Wh- But- Aghgfgl!" She paced around a bit, muttering things like "Ikati-sithutha" and "Goddêm fokking kat", before finally stopping and staring at the carnage impotently. "Gaah! I wish I could do something to help... Or that something could do it for me..." She put all her heart into her pseudo-summon, hoping, praying, even, that someone or something would help in her stead.

[1]

Then she was face to large, jingly hat with a Shale Imp. She flinched, thinking it would attack her- but it didn't. She caught on rather quickly, truth be told.

"...Did I summon you?" She asked, to which the Imp nodded.

Elize's expression changed from one of perplexion to delight. "That's so COOL! Ohmygod, I can summon things from Homestuck! Ooh, wait, let's see if I can..."

She concentrated once again, trying for something else this time...

She got two new mooks: a blue snake-man with a lance and a Mawile.

[2]

Elize's smile gained a bit of an edge. "Alright, then. Forward, troops! Your targets are the large, grey-skinned cyclops... things!"

Her minions ran off towards the village, intent on carrying out their mistress's orders.

Really? Now the voice is arguing with itself? Ced sighed before stiffening and staring at Kirrian's reaction. He turns to look at the huge...bear-man thing and takes a deep breath before staring it right in the eyes.

"Sir, we don't mean any harm. My friend here, Kirrian, has the best ears of anyone I've ever met. Whatever he's hearing right now, it's big, it's ugly, and it's coming to eat our faces. So you can waste your time with us or we can help with what's on the way. We don't have time for your bravado or tough guy act. Just tell us what we can do to help." Rickie almost jumped back when being addressed by the bear and the snarl. Nonetheless he stood the ground, in a rather tense position. Now there's the bastard lovechild of a football hooligan and a grizzly bear, and to top it off I think that the voice in my head that I should not be hearing at all has some sort of bipolar ailment.

Kirrian's freakout didn't help at doing things either. Rickie felt like running away screaming on top of his lungs. He felt like cowering before the bear. Yet at the same time, he felt like tearing the remaining good eye of that miscreant would be a good punishment. Cedric, bless his soul, was a little bit more composed, but he was trembling as well.

Sink or Swim Rickie thought as he clenched both of his fist hard, stopping his trembling and hesitation. There was an ugly knot in his throat, but it soon was overcame by the rapid heartbeat of his chest. He knew this feeling so well. It was the feeling of overcoming one's fear.

Voices are untrustworthy. Kids won't be able to put up a fight. And this guys' attitude denotes a slight hint of paranoia and tiredness. We are not the first weird thing these guys have face.

"Brave kids." He said to both of them before interposing between them and the bear, his sight now scowling in a deep frown.

"Take a good look at my garments. Does it look like any kind of clothing you've seen before?" He said."The answer is pretty easy: We are lost and we're not of the vicinity. And by the looks of it, we're not the only ones. I could wager there's a connection indeed, but..."

He sighed. "...we will be getting nowhere if we keep with the posturing, big guy: I can tell you're troubled. A bizarre increase in the number of humans is just but the most recent trouble, no? Else you'd not overreact for just three unarmed people."

That should be enough to make him think He thought to himself.

"So here's the thing. If you try to eliminate everything out of the ordinary, you'll be attacking three simple innocent lost people, and it will yield you no honor nor recognition. And if people around here are like the ones I know being flagged as a manslayer will make every single human lust for your blood in the vicinity. Do you really want to do that? On the other hand, you can just rudely tell us to leave and give us nominal directions... but then again you would never find out what Kirrian is talking about. Or, you can assume this is part of a chain of weirder events, heed my little colleague here, try to discern what's really going and earn a friend in the process."

He finished, folding his arms in front of the bear. "So what'll be?"

Susan could barely believe how events had progressed... as she was handed a wondrous bow in hand. An item clearly imbued with magic... a weapon with a name and history for her to wield. A bow... she had never shot a bow but now she dearly wished to try. Holding it and the handed arrows, she prepared to jump behind Bola... a smile forming in her lips.

Could she do the jump? Please. She would have tried even weak as she was before... now, with this body that had climbed a tree all the way to the sky she felt nothing but a thrill for it. However... her mind wandered through Bola's words, thinking on it... And right before she leap she asked.

"Great Bola! A question... in how much danger is Houl'Jin and the Monga? For if the Grogs are away from their nest, wouldn't now be the best moment to figure out what is driving once kind creatures to great aggression? Oh and... thank you for Silvermoon. I'll treasure it"

Terrapin looked at Jacques as he jumped down and then at Mercel as she ordered him to dive towards the Grog. For a moment he thought both of the two were insane, but at the same time he had a slight desire to help the village as well. Flying a tad higher and ripping off a sharp branch for Mercel to at least use, Terrapin began to dive down and swoop near the Grog that was nearest to Jacques, swooping near its eye in order to allow Mercel to hopefully jab the stick into it or to distract it for Jacques to do something.

"I don't think this strategy will work forever... there are a total of nine of them after all, child," spoke Terrapin to Mercel through their link as he began to worry, and as another Grog began to take notice of their attempt to take down the other Grog.

Raising her head, Rin was a bit dumbfounded at what you had just done in summoning three strange creatures from fiction to fight for you. Scurrying out of her hiding spot, she looks up at you and then at the three creatures who promptly ran off to engage in battle.

"...Did... that just happen? What is a Homestuck and what in Kite's name were those things?" asked the cat with a stunned expression. Shaking her head, she regained herself before looking up. "Wait, you don't plan to fight, do you? Especially with those... things you just summoned? Well, sure, they could probably take out one, maybe, but not all of them, Elize."

Pausing a bit, the cat stared at the village before sighing. "Fine."

In that instant, Rin's paws began to slowly cause smoke to puff up into the air as she slowly walked towards the village. Her tail started to grow as did her body while her fangs began to take a more vicious shape like a saber-tooth. Now as the size of a car and looking more than capable enough to tear her way through a large elephant, Rin glances back at you before grinning.

"Want a ride?"

As the large grizzly glared at the three for a little while, he eventually snarled a bit before turning towards the larger man as he spoke. Listening intently to his every word, he gave off a small bark, "You are a smart thing with a smarter tongue. I just wish your friends were less of a mess than you are," spoke the bear as he growled.

"There have been strange things happening, and you three showing up are even stranger with your weird clothes. And what is this about an atta-"

Before the large grizzly could finish, a loud growl could be heard from the corner of the village from another Monga, before the sound of a bell could be heard ringing. Then, the sounds of trampling and screeching yells could be heard from nearby as they approached quickly.

Rustling his fur and moving forward to sniff the air, the large grizzly let's out a mighty roar before staring intently at you three. "Grogs... I take it this is what you meant by an attack? Hmph... Well, don't just stand there with your tails between your legs, either run and hide like cowardly humans or help us."

Without giving your group anymore attention, the larger grizzly immediately began to turn to give orders to nearby guards to begin taking people to safety, while ordering others to rush towards the front to take on the oncoming Grogs.

Now, with that little disaster adverted, you seem to be stuck with yet another task... you can either help or allow the Mongas to deal with the Grogs by themselves... though you better decide quickly, for you can already hear the sounds of battle begin to happen as Mongas and Grogs begin to clash.

"You underestimate the Grogs, girl," spoke Bola as he continued to the village. "Despite how much I want to go to the cave as well, it will take more than just you and I to take them all on. They are fierce predators, and the place they dwell is their habitat... and they know it far too well. It is their territory, and we need an army to go there if we are to investigate."

The proud hunter watched as you made the jump and continued to follow behind him, and soon enough made it to the village as the Grogs began their attack.

"I have to admit... you're almost like a little hunter yourself. How amusing... Nonetheless, here we are, and it would seem the Grogs are here in number. The first shot is yours, child. Pick your mark, and I'll follow it swiftly."

From the spot where you are at, you can easily see the entirety of the village and the location of every Grog and every human. None of them could suspect a shot from an arrow from this distance. Then again, you could just charge forward and attack with brute strength if you prefer.

The many guests of the inn glanced your direction, a bit confused by what your warning meant... until the sound of the bell began ringing... and a large grey creature promptly forced its way into the inn, breaking through a wall and tossing a few guests out of the way. The Grog stared at a few of the guests with it's large yellow eye, just like the one you just ate not too long ago, before glancing at Simber and Timbey, before trying to claw its way towards them.

Many of the guests, travelers, and merchants began to scream and scurry off while the orc bodyguard began to attempt to keep it at bay with his large ax, although due to the debris is was hard to maneuver about.

It would seem that this would be a perfect chance to either make your escape or to either try and help Timber and his mom as best as you can... or perhaps your could try fighting the Grog with the orc. Unless of course you have a better idea.

Kirrian's eyes relaxed, and he lowered his hands from his arms. Suddenly he seemed a lot mroe composed, letting out a deep breath. "L-Let's go. I have a feeling... We need to find something to defend ourselves with... And while I went to help them, we should keep out of th-this until a chance opens up to us." Kirrian states, clearly hearing whatever the hell it is that's attacking this village now. He quickly rushed inside, looking to find a weapon... Or something else he could use.

He now muted almost everything out, focusing on the breathing and steps of the giants roaming around. This should give him an indication where each one is, minding his step and staying out of their way. Now's not the time for panic. Where could he look...?

Now's my chance...

With that, Jacques runs up to the Grog, giving it a good klap with the stick several times

"YAAAAHHH! TAKE THIS!"

He swings the stick a few more times. He could feel his own rage at these evil creatures bubbling up, overriding all feelings of fear.

Use the Force, Luke. Use the Force.

What the-!? Who are you? I'm not Luke, and why are you in my head?

Oops, wrong head, sorry about that.

The voice gone, Jacques feels something...strange inside him, an odd feeling of power, tingling towards his hands. He steps back a bit, feeling his hand heat up. Somehow, as if it was instinct, he held it out to the Grog, and a blast of fire erupted from his hands towards it.

"I can do...magic?!"

Jacques is about to get a whole lot more dangerous.

Susan had never shot an arrow before. Well, at least not in combat. On a fair, long ago she shot at a target... fifteen arrows for five bucks. She remembered vividly hitting the bullseye with one of them.

She could only hope to be so lucky now... No, not so lucky. She'd have to make it work. Her brain went back to that day... trying to remember how she was instructed to hold the bow... the arrow, pull the string... closed one eye... and took a deep breath as she pulled onto the arrow... Letting all of her enhanced strength pull back on the string as she took aim.

The situation was surreal. Dreamlike, game like. Something a normal human could barely wrap their head around. She was on a bear village, being instructed by a talking lion on shooting a magical arrow at monsters. This was all beyond ridiculous.

And that's just how Susan wanted it. A small smile formed on her lips... her heart beating like crazy as she let out a soft plea for Silvermoon to guide her before she released her arrow at the Grog breaking through the inn.

If I'm sure of something it's that I'm not sure of anything.

Elize's mouth dropped open. "That's so fucking cool! Hell yeah I wanna ride!" She grabbed a nice, sturdy tree branch and climbed her way to the top of Rin's back.

"Let's go kill some Grogs, yeah?"

Hayate's eyes widened when a hideous gray creature suddenly burst into the Inn. That was a Grog? Holy shit, that thing looks far too ugly for how its eye tastes!

When the Grog had zeroed in on Simber and Timbey, Hayate stepped in front of the Mother and Child, baton extended and ready. "Simber, Timbey. Do you know of any places where you will be safe from the Grogs? He asked them.

"No way." Rickie said in a dejected manner after witnessing chaos unfolding in front of his eyes. Out of the pan into the ashes. He said, while clenching his teeth tightly. There was simply no time to hesitate...

...and then Kirrian darted on his own towards the village."Don't try to be an action star, Kirrian! Take cover!" He yelled to no avail. Sadly, he could not follow his own advice. The village was in danger, and if he was to get a positive feedback from this sort of bear-warrior tribe, he would have to show them he was no coward.

But how? Clearly he could not conjure a gun out of midair, nor he had laser beams. Conjure. That was it. The words that had been crammed into his head finally had some sense.

This is so mental I will need years of therapy afterwards. He added while running after the warrior bear into the fray, his lips already reciting arcane words. He felt it. The heat of magic, running on his arm, blazing in his fist. He tossed it like one flings a spear, his sight on one of the beast's ugly alien eye. Sorry, but I have no intention of playing fair with you nasties.

"Go for the eye, boo!" He yelled in top of his lungs as he unleashed a proyectile of pure magic energy aimed at the face of one of the Grogs.
