• ch.who.03629 is Beth Du Clare/Lucius De Beers/Morgan Everette(who is probably the person messaging his friend Page)(ch = switzerland, who = World Health Organization in Geneva)
• us.un.09763 is Stanton Dowd(us = United States, un = United Nations in New York City)
• us.dc.01776 is William Taggart(us = United States, dc = Washington, D.C.)
• sg.or.di.67892 is Hugh Darrow(sg = Singapore, or = Omega Ranch, dr = Darrow Industries)
• The unknown No. 7 is probably the one who is messaging Page if Everette isn't ch.who.

I'm trying to really go into this game as cold as possible. That's if I get it - the PC specs may be as ludicrous as the ones for the Witcher 3 are, and I don't have a PS 4 or Xbox 1 to play it on either.

From what I'm seeing in the Game Informer article about Mankind Divided it looks like Farida Malik isn't going to be returning. Instead, you'll be getting a new VTOL pilot named Elias Chikane. Pity, I was really hoping to see her return somehow.

Makes sense, unlike the endings which are all ambiguous enough to lead into the original in some way, Malik is a clear case of Schrodinger's Pilot; so without a way to account for the player's actions, she could only be mentioned by way of fridgestuffing.

But if there's no Francis, we riot.

Sounds like they are offing the entire non-Jensen cast for HR. Sarif and Malik are probably gone. Was Prichard there when the installation blew?

I suppose this to be expected, considering they went with the stupid murder everyone ending, or at least a variation of it. If it turns out that Jensen was indeed responsible for it (maybe there should be a dialogue option, allowing him to say if he did it or not?) that will kill what little hype I have for the new game.

Note that they haven't said "Hey Malik is dead" and are instead saying "You've a new pilot now that you work with the task force".

I'm hoping she's involved in some capacity. Even if it's just a side quest or something.

I don't think that would be possible considering their previous statement that decisions made in Human Revolution would not carry over to Mankind Divided.

Unless they have a poll asking how many players went out of their way to save Malik, and there is a sufficient positive response that they choose to make it canon.

They could go the KOTOR II route, like Rational was hinting at, where somebody asks a bunch of questions about the last game, and Jensen's answers determine what happened. "So I heard something happened to your last pilot." "She was unceremoniously executed/she retired after our last flight together."

Or they could do what Invisible War did with Paul and say "fuck it, no, you saved her anyway, no excuses".

And yes I'm saying this should be more like Invisible War.

EDIT: Also, I kinda want Fairdah to say "Oh my god! Adam! A bomb!"

What? From Deus Ex and Invisible War? I hope so. They were piss at the time. From Human Revolution? Nah. I loved those. I even liked the piss yellow filter that was everywhere.

The color is fine but every face besides Eliza, Malik, and Jensen made me wanna pull out a hammer and smash the horrible monstrosities I beheld

The character models for everyone that wasn't part of the main cast were terrible even for their time. They looked more like early-release PS 3 / XB 360 era stuff. Pretty sure they're gonna address that one particular issue though, because both reviewers and users were complaining about that issue and the devs even acknowledged it at one point.

I think the graphics were fine, they just need to work on the animations a bit more.

Deus Ex has traditionally been a series that sacrificed absolute graphical fidelity for gameplay depth and narrative complexity.

The PC port of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is being handled by the same people that ported Human Revolution to PC.

So that's good. The PC Port is quite fine by me.
