Indeed. I hope Thistle will arrive in time to avoid any more murders by the green giant frog being.
Oh, well, at least Brent is somewhat competent at slaying the drath.
Awww, poor animals. This looks like it is going to end badly. :(
That escalated quickly. I like it! Goat demons inbound.

“You can’t be an important and life-changing presence for some people without also being a joke and embarrassment to others.” -Mark Manson."I'm not the one you're hoping for."
Expergiscēre cras, medior quam hodie. (Awaken tomorrow, better than today.)But maybe she's the one they need.
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster.Or maybe she's the one they hate.
Expergiscēre cras, medior quam hodie. (Awaken tomorrow, better than today.)There's a lot of things this could mean. I could see it as anything from "Thistle's body is anathema to this reality, despite the fact that she's really nice" to "her source of power is anathema to the Drath, and anyone could potentially learn to use it."
It's pretty awesome, regardless.
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster.Hate to say this, but even if I can count the number of people posting in this thread on one hand, that doesn't really make you exempt from spoiler policies.
Expergiscēre cras, medior quam hodie. (Awaken tomorrow, better than today.)Is speculation really a spoiler?
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster.Speculation may be a spoiler for people who are just starting to read the comic. On the other hand, you know from the start that there's something strange about Thistle - I don't think many people assumed that she just has a bad case of acne.
Well, now, that's exactly how I would have expected Thistle to solve that problem. Plants are awesome! http://www.daughterofthelilies.com/dotl/438-
Hey, Chapter 5 has begun and we meet someone new.
That said, that bit on the right of the last panel feels very familiar.
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster. It seems they're finally getting closer to killing that monster.
Impressive that this whole plotline wouldn't have existed if people had just listened to Thistle.
Is anyone else reading this?
I like how that cheesy book is not only in the bargain shelf, it's marked as a cheaper bargain book.
Disgusted, but not surprised
Well... we know it ends with Thistle joining Orrig and all four of them surviving. That said, we actually don't know that Thistle will save the day. What if everything just goes completely pear-shaped and the town has to be destroyed? I mean, if "get out before the town has to be sucked into the abyss to prevent a Drath apocalypse" has to happen, small victories are sometimes all you get. But that isn't "saving the day." That's "surviving the day."
