Adam returns "Jacques why would alien life forms have English written onto the side of one of their ships?" He asks, "Only species I know of that still used English are humans."

"You guys might also want to take a look at my Core systems while I am out mining, the heavily corrupted ones. Maybe you'll pull something off there," Adam states before flying out again.

"Alright, might be an idea considering..." S.A.T.N.A.V. nodded as ADAM exited again, heading in the direction of where his core was kept, "Crashsat, want to give me a hand?" She offered. Once at ADAM's core the gynoid would begin a thorough diagnostic of the AI systems.

Crashsat let out a completely artificial sigh. "I suppose we should take a look, see what his HAL bussiness is and what's wrong with his GLADDOS issues." Crashsat loved the fact that he could mimic human mannerisms to upset them. Throwing it right back at them, touchy feely bastards. He saunters over to the AI core and takes stock of the damage.

Robert stares at the two androids as they assess Adam's AI core. SATNAV seemed to still be all there, so he probably wouldn't have to worry about the obviously unhinged Crashsat fudging the results of the diagnosis in some shape or form. Instead the Professor busied himself with a combination of overseeing ADAM's mining, and studying the footage of the crashed ship. To assess valid entry points, and what might have caused the crash. Hopefully, it wasn't because someone or something had attacked them and it was just pilot error. He really hoped humanity hadn't decided to take up space piracy after ditching Earth.

Jacques sidles up to the Prof.

"Need help, Doc? I know my way around electronics well enough."

"Not in particular, but I suppose a second pair of eyes couldn't hurt. I'm looking over the video ADAM got us of the crashed cargo ship, to ascertain probable cause of the crash and good entry points. Since, I do plan to download anything I can out of its computer systems before salvaging it."

Victoria ambles over to the Professor and Jacques and says "Need a third pair of eyes? I don't have anything else to do anyway."

Adam returns 3 more times over the course of maintaining their station and observing the footage.

Crashsat and Satnav examine all 100 of ADAM's Core drives, about 42 boards are corrupted in some way either being filled with unreadable virus BLACK DATA or the circuits are melted. Satnav does manage to find a working board that holds the entertainment systems to keep their human comrades from losing it from overtaxing themselves. Crashsat finds a few basic Android Body designs (All civilian) and a few large weapon designs.

The last board is filled with mostly BLACK DATA but pulls out what appears to be a Military Grade Carrier with easy modability to hold either 8 Troops and a large cargo storage or a full 16 troops. Signs of Sabotage are not easily found as the melted boards could be from overheating and the BLACK DATA could just be ADAM's compartmentalization of his overtaxed mind. A full Debug of the still intact boards is recommended to see if there was any sabotage.

Professor Proton's viewing of the damaged cargo ship footage reveals at least 2 cargo crates with a Radiation Symbol on them, either Uranium Rods or Reactor Parts, and a few blast marks revealing a scuffle of some sort around the ship, possibly from within or even worse it is signs of a attack. Beyond that there is a large hole torn through the right side of the ship allowing the crew with their Jetpacks to walk in.

Adam pulls up one last time adding more material to the refinery. "So, have anything doc?"

S.A.T.N.A.V. grimaced, "Hmm. Alright, I have good news and bad news - I'll start in the default order." She annouced to the human crew, including any who were in another section of the station via comms, "Good news - I found an uncorrupted board full of entertainment programs so you don't go postal. Bad news - over half of ADAM's boards are corrupted in someway or another. A lot of them seem to have a virus, too. I'm going to check for sabotage." The gynoid added, beginning a full debug of ADAM's core then adding to Crashsat, "No wonder he managed to get us so far off course- I never should have been left online with just him in charge." She lamented before starting a new line of inquiry, "Found anything good?"

"Does anyone feel like coming with me to explore that ship? We could probably get some decent salvage from it."

Crashsat let on a calm demeanor, but his curcuits almost audibly clicked wiht disconcertation. Why did this BLACK DATA put him off ease? Why did it seem so familiar? "I.. GOSH... I dunno about this. It almost seems like a deliberate act of sabotage... but I can't really tell, myabe it was just an obscene glitch." He shakes his head and looks over at Ssatnav. "We should wipe it then never speak of it again."

"I think that might be getting ahead of ourselves, Crashsat..." S.A.T.N.A.V. gave the military android a suspicious look then turned back to debugging ADAM, "I want to make sure it was actually sabotage before we do anything - if we wipe it we may never know what happened. Not to mention potentially making ADAM loopier."

"Consider it a Miracle I am currently operating at enough capacity to fly this drone no issue. And wipe is only truly applicable when we have a permanent new body for me. Save that for the time being," ADAM tells Crashsat.

ADAM is now suspicious of Crashsat, "The virals in the BLACK DATA are most likely former runtimes of mine that got overtaxed and corrupted."

Crashsat blinks. "Oh why of course, I don't know why I saw it any other way. I must have been shut down longer than I thought." He shrugs. "I'll have to run some self-diagnostics later perhaps. Myabe YOU RUBBED OFF ON ME, HUH ADAM!?" He shouts. "I know for sure I'm not space crazy."

"There was some sort of combat event involving the wrecked cargo ship. Which does not bode well for humanity retaining a united front after evacuating Earth. There are also some radioactive containers on board that the video feed noted, so if we grab those we should be good for reactor fuel for a while. Given the indications of combat, I would like to make sure we are properly armed and armored before investigating the ship in case it has any still active internal defenses. So, ADAM assuming you're still up for it, while SATNAV debugs your core would you please continuing mining? I should have enough to begin construction on a ship to transport us to the wreck, but any extra supplies for arms and armor would be useful."

With that said, the Professor moves over to the stations fabricator and begins working on building that Carrier that SATNAV pulled off ADAM's core systems. It would be the 8 troops and large cargo hold variety, given end goal of breaking down the cargo ship and taking everything worthwhile out of it.

"Of course Professor," ADAM responds before speeding out again as the Professor begins construction.

The debug begins and slowly the non-melted corrupted boards are cleaned of all viral BLACK DATA.

The construction takes 2 hours in which ADAM makes his rounds 5 more times, the debugging continues and is estimated to go for another 16 hours.

The finished craft sits there, a imposing sight to see. Just one problem, the current Airlock is too small. "Looks like we need to build a hangar..." ADAM laments.

EDIT: Seems I messed up the Build Material Pool. That is fixed now.

The Professor frowns at the gross miscalculation he had made with the size of the ship and getting it out of the station. The cyrosleep must have thrown him for more of a loop then he had thought.

Robert sighs slightly annoyed at this turn of events before rolling up his sleeves again, and getting to work on constructing a hanger addition to the space station so that they could get the ship out and begin examining the wreck.

Crashsat fakes a yawn and checks his battery. Half-charge? That can't be right. Oh well. "Nice one Prof." Crashsat assists the professor in construction.

Within another hour the ship has been moved into a bare frame Hangar that will serve for now until the Professor and the others completes it.

A standard airlock big enough for the survivors to walk through stands there.

Everyone has also been given a full charge and ADAM is outside. "Everyone ready?"

Victoria cracks her knuckles all at once. "Ready and waiting, ADAM, let's do this."

S.A.T.N.A.V. set up an automatic debugging program for ADAM's core, keeping a running summary transmitting to her severs as she joined the others in the airlock. She prepared her multitool hands, "Ready as always, ADAM _ Let's get moving, if you please."

Robert adjusts his space suit a bit as he stares at the adhoc hanger addition. It would be a bit longer till it could be considering a genuine hanger, but it was good enough for now. He doubled checked his equipment to make sure all his gear was still there and functional. He paid particular attention to his computer interfacing devices since he did want to get every bit of data off the crashed cargo ship he could.

"I suppose now is as good a time as ever to begin scavenging."

Crashsat suddenly perks up. "Yes, ready I guess. Never know what's out there what might try to get ya. Lucky you guys got us bots."

Satisfied with the crew at hand, ADAM. leads the small carrier ship out of the hanger and out to the asteroid ahead containing the destroyed cargo ship.

"So, any idea what you expect to find in the computer logs Professor Proton?" ADAM asks over the radio.

"Cargo and crew manifest, point of origin and destination, are the most likely. Entertainment for the crew is also likely. Hopefully, though its databanks will contain some recent history, and current political landscape of humanity. Possibly, also some schematics on more recent technology."
