Battleworld [Discussion Thread]

Dream Mix TV World Fighters is not canon and is a lameass Smash clone. It just happens to have Optimus Prime, Bomberman, and Simon Belmont as playable characters.

Konami Krazy Racers is the bomb though. Like Bowser, Dracula is not unfamiliar with Go Karting.

Hey Echo, I'm a bit confused by your post. Granted, I don't follow the Terminator universe, but I thought there was only one Marcus. Isn't he a special model or something?

I should mention Echo that Monsoon's scouting in stealth mode. Unless one of those guys can detect stealth fields, they're not gonna know he's there. Not much of an ambush otherwise lol.

So I've given it a lot of thought, and realized that I've simply lost interest in playing the Koopa Kingdom, though since I didn't want to disappoint I've at least tried to keep going with them. I did think of a potential Chunkless group that I might like to switch to, but there are 3 problems with it.

1) The Koopa Kingdom is kind of in a war right now, and in the Cure's good graces, so it's weird for them to be teleported out. I suppose Meanken could take them over, but then he's fighting himself, which would be weird.

2) At this point so many new groups have been brought in that it seems ridiculous to bring in another.

3) They might be too OP. (One is an empath who can make everyone in a square mile suicidally depressed with a wave of her hand. She's one of the weaker ones.)

I'll keep posting for the Koopas if need be, though I can't guarantee that I can keep up with the pace of this RP. Just needed to get this off my chest.

What's the trouble with the Koopas' style, to you?

@Theodore: What kind of vans are these? Armored or regular police vans?

Well, if you need an out for the Koopa Kingdom, we can have Bowser get killed off in this fight when Shao Kahn gets teleported in. With no one else really positioned to take over the chunk effectively, the Cure will remove said chunk.

As for other ideas, remember I have a nerfbat I can use to balance any OP stuff your replacement may have.

Maybe the Koopa Kingdom could lose the fight; with Bowser out of the picture Outworld could just annex the chunk.

@Colonial: They're just feeling too cartoony to me. I can never take Bowser seriously and it kind of bugs me.

@Meanken: Aight, that works for me. I'll finish out this fight and have Bowser get decapitated or something. Also I'll work on that chunkless group sign-up.

Alright. Gonna need to fill that slot with something. May be bringing in our first reserve player to fill that slot, since there's at least two other chunks bordering it that are gonna be very isolated otherwise.

Ok people, I have a minor issue. I need something in the space of Koopa Kingdom else a couple of chunks will have no or only one chunk next to them. However, the incoming player has expressed concerns about being in that area due to the high concentration of hostile chunks that would be around them. Is anyone around that area (or just in the Battleworld in general) open to being moved to that zone?

Why not just annex it?

Eh. Not really sure what to have Shao Kahn do with it is the thing. That'll be the solution if no one wants to be moved I suppose. Might just be easier to have that happen I suppose then try to talk people into moving

Hmm... Can I see the map again? I might buck up and make the move if no one else wants it more, and I wanna get a little more of an idea for what's all there so I can ~strategize~.

If we do end up going for the annexation thing, I'd like to be placed either on the southern border of Santa Destroy running into the edge of... Edge, or placed in the crux adjacent to Hell's Gate Tokyo and Mitikihara.

here◊.However, thinking that I might just have it get taken over. otherwise the evil chunks are gonna see little point in invasions if the chunk just gets replaced as soon as the other side is beaten.

Actually I also have several ideas for other Chunks if you want me to use one of them. I'm equally fine with using either idea.

@Un Santa Destroy's a no go, as Neet's said he needs a beach area, given that Santa Destroy's a coastal California town. can put you in the other zone however.

@kage No, I think we're gonna stick with the takeover thing for reasons stated above. Feel free to stick to the original plan.

Okay. Darker Than Black and Puella Magi Madoka Magica are actually two of my favorite shows, so that works out great.

Ok then. Original plan was to have you wait till the Koopa war was over so you could be placed in their zone. However, with the change in plan, I no longer really have a reason to make you wait. Other then the fact that I'm going to bed in 10 minutes. Tomorrow morning I'll get you slotted in along with my reply to Kage and whoever else has posted that I need to reply to by then.
