So how the hell does Elder Kai's training work? PQ's don't seem to increase the progress bar. He told me my fortune and said to look for it in a PQ but nothing seems to have come of it.
Maxing him will happen automatically while grinding for levels with him as a mentor.
Leveling from 85 to 86 alone should be enough to have his bar maxed.
No need to bring anyone along, since he himself isn't playable and other characters haven't been confirmed to help.
If you happen to already be Lvl 93 before he evver showed up as a mentor and you just want the meter to rise as fast as possible, Z-Rank easy P Qs.
PQ 15 seems nice, since it's only 1 opponent (one-shootable Max Frieza) and also offers a single Time Patroller with a possible Dragonball as its Ultimate Finish.
How do you get Elder Kai anyway? Does he just show up or do I need to have someone else done first?
Oh really when? He's as random as any other mentor.
Oh goodie, what exactly does he teach you? I'm totally ignorant of all the new moves besides Super Galick Gun.
Oh really when? The only skill he teaches you is "Unlock Potential" which boosts your stats when you transform with it.
Speaking of which, I just got it. I spent all day grinding to level 93 in order to get him to teach it.
And that's just a fancy Kaioken. Damn
Speaking of, how do you get x3 and x20 Kaioken? I've gotten ultimate finishes on both their missions at least a dozen times but still no skill.
Oh really when?Wait, does it drain ki, or stamina?
It drains Ki. Stamina also recovers during it.
Actually, It's been called a batter Kaioken by a lot of people, especially on humans.

Oh, that doesn't sound too bad then. No infinite supers but infinite teleports and angry shouts.
Oh really when? You also get 2 free level ups when you complete the ritual but you need to be level 80 before you can train with Old Kai.
...I take it you can't complete the ritual with multiple characters?
It's his max mentor event, so I don't think so.
Wow, Elder Kai's Z-Soul is rigged. It effectively negates Ki drain from going Super Saiyan 1. It's useless for PVP considering it takes 3 minutes to activate but for PQ it's super useful to not have to use Energy Charge anymore. Once it activates you get to keep it for the rest of the battle, even if you get KO'd.

What does it do exactly? Auto restore ki?
What about Super Saiyan 2?
Oh really when?"Hmm Hmm Hmmm! Hm Hmmm! Hmmm!" is the Elder Kai Master Z-Soul that auto-charges Ki, but I just tested it with Super Vegeta 1 and it doesn't stop me from loosing Ki as a Super Saiyan.
I use it with SS 1 and it doesn't completely negate the drain but I'd wager it would take about 5 minutes to drain 5 Ki bars.
Got all the non-DLC Ultimate Skills now. Just one more trophy.
I'd rather just use Future 18's "I'll use all my power to destroy you", which gives you the KI Regen and max-KI power boost of a human.
On my human. Double down on that sweet sweet KI Regen.
I have a message from another time...Why is Saiyan Spirit a blast ultimate but Spirit Blade is a strike? One involves considerably more striking than the other and it's not the latter.
I'm thinking about switching back to just the first Super Vegeta transformation. That stamina drain when it ends is really starting to kick my ass.
I'd like to get Elder Kai's or 18's ki regen skill first though but the random number Jesus is giving me no help.
Oh really when?Golden Frieza's Z-Soul also has some decent Ki regen if you find that easier to get.
Do we have any raw numbers for the boosts you get from the various Super Saiyan forms?
Because that stamina drain is too much but I hate to lose a powerful boost.
