Giving it a one-and-done price tag makes sense, I'm pretty sure that it's been found F2P needs enough critical mass to get a return on investment and it is fair to conclude that wouldn't happen.

It's official: Gigantic is back. Rampage Edition launches April 9th
($19.99, no microtransactions; has crossplay; also on Xbox and, for the first time ever, PlayStation), with a Steam closed beta in 2 days. Two new heroes, two new maps, a new Rush mode, custom matches, and post-launch content (Ranked mode and new skins).
