Yes, I've heard of that movie (I own it on DVD, along with all the other movies starring the Olsen twins). It was their last direct-to-DVD twin-fest (although they did one more movie together afterwards, called "New York Minute" - which got a cinematic release).
So yeah, you didn't imagine this movie at all. :)

Did anyone ever see this old M Ary K Ate & Ashley movie called \"The Challenge\"?
I haven\'t seen it since summer 2004, but here\'s what I remember. It was about these two sisters who didn\'t know each other being in this Survivor-esque competition (only they were staying in a hotel). There were two teams: the Aztecs (the opponent team, on which this nasty girl was on) and the one they were on. They had to go through six, sorry, 7 challenges:
1. I forgot the first one, but I remember they lost it. 2. I forgot what happened in this one, but they lost it too. 3. \"You-Are-What-You-Eat\": This was a \"spin the wheel\" game where they had to eat all this gross food. They lost. 4: \"Animal Pen\": Exactly what it says on the tin! They had to return a bunch of animals back to their pens. They won! 5. I forgot, but they won, too.
Then one of the girls got into some sort of trouble dating a guy and couldn\'t participate in the next challenge.
6. Everyone stood on these polls out in the water, and you lost if all of your team fell off. Eventually the two guys on Lizzie\'s team fell off (there was this bit where on of the guys, Antonio, thought he saw his grandma in the clouds tempting to feed him italian food??, fell off) and they had to life one leg, but Lizzie beat the nasty girl. So they won.
7. A big challenge where they had to face their fears, and one of the girls\' fears was snakes. They won.
Then suddenly some guys came up to them and broke fourth wall by talking about their shows like So Little Time and that stuff. Then the girls broke fourth wall when Mary Kate was like \"Come on, Ash\" and they walked off.
It was a weird movie! Anyone seen it or at least heard of it?
