I know the video game subpage was already brought up, but I thought it would be best to bring up the entire article, because I visited the anime and manga subpage, and Complaining About Shows You Dont Like is in full force, in almost all the examples. I saw an example on YMMV/Pixar that seemed kinda complainy as well. It's almost as if tropers think it's a synonym for So Bad, It's Horrible. Example:

Arcs tended to give Kaiba's backstory or company more prominence, and each arc had its own kind of sin for the fans: the Virtual World interrupted Battle City, and was incredibly weird and nonsensical.
