Damned By Faint Praise - Should This Have Real Life Examples?

I've been looking at the Damned by Faint Praise trope, and it seems most of the "Real Life" examples listed are very case by case rather than across the board examples - and some aren't real examples of this at all. For example, regarding the "letters of recommendation" example, punctuality could be an extremely important quality if (for example) you work a job where you have regular appointments or meetings with clients/customers. Similarly, when dating, "funny" and "good personality" by no means imply "unattractive" (at worst, a date might say something like "he was very funny and had a really nice personality, but I just didn't feel a spark" and, at best, something like "he was very funny, had a great personality, and by God, I want to be with him!"). The Professional Video Game Reviews example, meanwhile, doesn't strike me as "faint praise" so much as just plain old sarcasm.

Does anybody else think it should be a "No Real Life Examples, Please" trope?

There is a thread in Long Term Projects for just such issues : https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/posts.php?discussion=13350380440A15238800
