All things considered, shouldn't this be Literary Necromancy? It would make much more sense since this is about "reviving" a long dead work with new material. And the lack of wicks despite the large number of examples seems to support the fact that the name is unintuitive and, let's be frank, pretty gross.
I'm also noticing some mild complaining in the examples, as if implying that this practice is inherently a bad thing. Might need some cleaning up there.
