The Lightning Army and Giant would have been cool if the fight scenes were the least bit impressive.

Lightning Emperor is such a sad excuse for a villain. Pathetic. And apparently she's allowed to wipe cities off the map. Good to know the show's completely forgotten about the S-classes being dogs on a leash.

Episode 11:

Wow, they stretched things up to fill this episode. First sauna shenanigans. Later a sleepover.

The idea of a Dragon who just really hate Moroha and tracks him down across reincarnations to torment him is kinda silly.

And the way they removed Moroha from action was so silly. Why exactly can't Lighting Emperor handle things is Russia? She's fine, he never even lay a finger on her! Is she sulking or what?

Catching up a bit.

Honestly, this entire series is basically Mahouka with twice the writing and half the budget. [lol] And the ability to not take itself super seriously.

A dragon that personally hates Moroha? Sure, why not. Didn't they call him the ancient dragon or something at first? Probably means something.

So in the end we get no explanation for why there is a dragon that follows Moroha through reincarnations and kills people dear to him. I sure hope this isn't a common affliction.

Moroha being all quavery like that when going berserk made it absolutely impossible to take it seriously.

From the good stuff Satsuki and Shizuno actually got to remember stuff for once and actually helped to defeat the Dragon.

The ending is the usual noncommittal ending most harem get but at least this series was clearly setting things up for s threesome from the beginning. Oh and we get some vague warning from Edward in case this gets a second season.

This was an enjoyable if not ambitious show. The plot followed the fantasy-action-harem formula pretty closely, Moroha was super special snowflake and the animation was always stellar but aside of that I don't have any major complains. I liked all the characters (except maybe Shizuno) and had fun watching it every week.

Now let's wait for the inevitable fanservice OA Vs

It's amazing how cliche and strange this anime was. I'm part of an anime and manga club, and the biggest highlights were us pointing out stuff and snarking at World Break.

Fun times.

[up] Oh, yes, there's always a fanservice OVA! Maybe Sophie will block a cannonball instead of a sword with her boobs this time. XD

A cruel, sick joke is still a joke, and sometimes all you can do is laugh.
