I just caught up with the series about a month ago, and I think it might've just become my second favorite manga, I honestly can't think of anything I find wrong with it. Ordered the first Viz Big volume off of Amazon so I'll be able to experience that glorious Inoue art up close and personal
As for the amount of time taken to reach the conclusion? Well I'm a Berserk/One Piece/Hunter x Hunter fan, so being patient for one more series can't hurt
If nothing else, be sure to watch The Tatami Galaxy before you die.

I was actually scared that Inoue had burnt out for good and the series would stay unfinished. there's a documentary where you really get to see how much he puts into vagabond, and it's both frightening and awe-inspiring.

I'm kind of surprised we don't have a thread for this yet. Figured we might as well make one considering the other super acclaimed long-running seinen already has a thread.
The series had been on hiatus for like over a year but is scheduled to resume on January 29th. Unlike Berserk there is kind of an end in sight at the moment (Musashi and Kojiro's legendary duel), but Inoue takes so many breaks it might as well be done whenever Berserk is at this point.
