There was a sequel in the works, but it' pretty much Vaporware at this point. Not that I really cared for a sequel, I thought the first flash already ended perfectly.

The creator on You Tube replied to a comment on the video saying he's working on a sequel, but that was a few years ago. Considering how long it takes to make such stunning animation, we might get one sometime this year or later.

Shame the sequel never materialized. If it did, Tar Boy would definitely get a TV Tropes page and a whole bunch of new fans.

I suddenly remembered this
old Newgrounds gem. I first found it many years ago when checking what the highest rated video on the entire site was. It no longer has a perfect score, but it's still a great short movie with a creative premise, good action and an awesome ending.
