Good point on that show. We should start a list of shows tha- holy fuck I forgot about Futurama and Morel Orel! Though the latter doesn't count since it's not very popular.
So yeah, a list of cartoons that fit the bill of not being treated as mindless kiddy crap or generic adult humor.

I don't know if Futurama counts. It is, after all, the show that gave us "Death By Snu-Snu".

I'd say Venture Brothers counts as well. Yeah, there's a lot of sophmoric humor on there as well, but the show has also gotten acclaim for it's well-developed storylines and characters. It's not just wacky hi-jinks.
