Since it's a single word you need to use curly brackets.
FanFic/{{Ouroboros}} gives Ouroboros.

I made the page Fan Fic/Ouroboros, however whenever I put it on an index page it doesn't turn into a blue hyperlink. I made the page before I indexed it, and this is the first time I've tried to index.
