First order of on-topic discussion:

As you guys know, even with 100 years passing in-game, there's still obviously gonna be people in Soul Eater around. One of them foremost is going to be Death the Kid, who'd be the new headmaster of DWMA.

My question is, how do you guys feel about these characters? Should I attempt to incorporate them in the RP? Or should I limit it as much as possible?

Second question, what do you guys think the aging rate of Shinigami, Witches and Weapons go by? 'Cuz while Shinigami and Witches are somewhat easier to discern, Demon Weapons are an odd case, since it seems that some can live for centuries.(Excaliburrrr)

you know I imagine Cail will be in a fight right about now.

Wasp Wu's gonna start off without a partner you're gonna have to edit.

I feel like truly legendary weapons live on longer than most. I feel like demon weapons would have an average lifespan, if unaided by magic.

However, I don't think Death the Kid would just like, leave the Thompson sisters to die. He'd probably do something about it with his shinigami powers, or something

Witches can live to be at least 800 years old without so much as wrinkling and Shinigami live even longer than that. Weapons... I'd say maybe a slightly exaggerated human lifespan. 150, 200 years maybe?

It feels weird not playing the guy always fighting.

Umm... KSPAM if I remember correctly it was always a matter of Meisters and Weapons choosing eachother.

There's no need to retcon it, just keep that in mind

It could just be that she doesn't know that weapons aren't shoved upon their meisters

Abigail didn't want one, so they kinda had to force one on her is the point I'm making.

Same thing with Wu.

I'm pretty sure you just go to DWMA, and are expected to make one

It's highly unlikely that they force on onto you, as I think the Weapon - Meister Dynamic is an organic process

Seeing as RIP's deal is people who have general issues with cooperating with others, I think a case can be made where the Academy may try to pair up students with compatible wavelengths if they're too adjusted in everything else to be held in NOT.

After all, lone weapons were accepted in the past, it just didn't end up going too well...(Justin Law)

well looks like Im a bit late on Cail possibly getting in on the action of the fight.

Oh well.

Double post for great idea. Best way to kick off a wonderful partnership is to get strongarmed into a duel with a Weapon you've never used before. Any takers?
