Uwe Boll could be directing this new Static Shock series for all I care. All that matters is Static is seen as being valuable enough to get a new show

The Static Shock project will see Reginald Hudlin act as writer/producer/director on this new project translating the much-acclaimed Static comic series published by DC & Milestone in the mid-90s. Created by the late Dwayne Mc Duffie alongside Robert L. Washington III and artist John Paul Leon, Static ran for 45 issues but received revived attention with an animated Static Shock series which ran for four years in the early 2000s. Details on when and where this new live-action Static Shock series will debut is currently unknown, but THR does say that comics creator Denys Cowan – who co-founded Milestone and worked on the previous animated series – is working alongside Hudlin on this new project.
The Batcave project is decidedly unique both in form and in presentation, as you’ll need a VR headset, such as the Oculus Rift, to view it. Batman: The Animated Series Experience is an immersive entertainment experience that will take viewers inside the Batcave of Batman: The Animated Series. The project, which uses interactive holographic video, will allow viewers to walk through and interact with various elements in the Batcave. This unique project is being done in collaboration with the visual effects company OTOY as well as Batman: TAS producer Bruce Timm. No timetable for release was made available, but they did say it’ll be available for the Oculus Rift, the Samsung GALAXY Gear VR, as well as future devices yet to be announced.
