Japanese. I think the English dub is a few weeks behind? And yeah, episode 2 did a great job with the material.

Btw, apparently per the DVD listings season 7 will have 21 episodes total [1] (so the 4 recap episodes were to take up four timeslots of the usual 25 that each season is composed of).

I think one episode will be anime-only material promoting the new movie since they’ve done that before. I’m guessing 20 episodes total of manga adapted content.

I’m fairly convinced the season will end on 386 now.

I imagine we'll get more fights in the anime as well as more backstory.

Like, I just know All for One's backstory is going to be an episode all to itself.

People seem to be giving Star a warm reception. That's good, she deserves it for being so helpful.

People liked Star, they just didn't like the ending to her fight or the way she was used.

The later reveal that Star cracked Tomura mentally actually makes sense, with how we see Tenko at the end of the fight.

However, I'm super disappointed that the episode didn't cover the second half of chapter 335 and end with the fake-out that Invisible Girl is the traitor.

Oh ahahaha, I remember THAT part of the Manga.

It might be best if they skip the fake-out.

Sometimes I wonder if I could have deduced who the traitor was if I didn't hang out in this thread.

I guess Yuga got really suspicious in season 3 and 4, but I feel like I'd spend more mental effort focusing on Principal Blofeld rat.

I don't think many people in this thread were able to accurately guess the traitor before the series actually revealed it. Kaminari seemed to be a common guess, but it relied on a lot of assumptions.

NGL, I was one of them who held out for the long-shot Kaminari theory. Twas him or Invisogirl in my mind.

I liked the AFO trojan inside OFA theory.

Man, either I'm very stupid, or very smart to have entirely missed out on suspecting Kaminari. I didn't even think of him as the traitor until someone pointed it out it could be possible.

My big 2 were Nezu and Yuga. Yuga just had all sorts of alarm bells. Starting when you told me, he wasn't actually French.

When it comes to Yuga, you were Right for the Wrong Reasons.

The fact that you zeroed in on him so soon, when he was never really a serious suspect (outside of watching Midoriya through his window, which soon got an explanation) is just hilarious.

I myself was solely focused on who knew and didn't know about the rescue mission, due to the traitor not saying anything, which meant it had to be a member who wasn't there when they all decided to do it, and that was a very small number of people.

But you just going Not French? J'accuse!!!! on Yuga and getting it right is like managing to shoot a spy because they were wearing a stupid looking hat.

Any one who would pretend to be French should be viewed with the utmost suspicion.

I still think predicting Armored All Might was the craziest one.

I wonder if anyone here paid attention to the cast list of the episode, specifically on the 1-A students that were credited... There are clearly some interesting names missing there...

@Rob I started suspecting something was up during the season 1 finale where he kept asking if people knew where he was during the supervillain attack and I found it weird I never saw what he did.

Also there was a throwaway line about the baddies getting info about All Might’s schedule which should be impossible to know.

But I kept thinking Nezu was up to something due to his bad timing.

I think Armoured Might isn't that hard of a guess for a comic book reader to be fair. MHA does have the advanced tech for it, and while normal Might being tortured for an entire chap by AFO could've been another way to stall, Iron Might is just nicer of a sendoff to the man.

Not to mention that the prelude in the School festival arc foreshadowed Iron Might with the mention of "Rare Might"'s former existence in the past.

I also was thinking of Batman Beyond. A show where an old Batman crippled from his injuries uses a mech suit to save Terry.
