From what I gather, Pascalle and Chris decided, perhaps in light of the launch of their new webcomic (Wilde Life), that they'd upload the last 20-odd comics all in one go rather than twice weekly (they finished drawing them months ago), which would have carried through until Christmas.
Unfortunately, their servers were apparently ill-equipped to handle the massive spike in traffic resulting from the block finale, and have been going up and down like a yo-yo ever since the mass update was posted. I can vouch for the fact that it's a good sendoff, but won't say anything further (not even hidden in spoiler tags; it'd just be Schmuck Bait waiting to be taken) so as not to spoil it for those who haven't managed to catch the site while it's been up and running.
(It is clear that it's the sort of story that is much more rewarding if you read it from start to finish and know what to look for in the way of foreshadowing - less Chekhov's Armoury, more Chekhov's Whole Bloody Munitions Complex - but unfortunately that will have to wait until the servers are stable again.)

So, yesterday I checked Zap! to see the latest comic, only to discover a many-page ending and epilogue had been posted... Unfortunately, I think I switched to something else because it would take time to read...
...and when I came back this morning, I discovered the whole site is now 403. How could it happen so fast?
