If we're all starting off in the same place, have first meetings/impressions already happened? Sorry for the idiot question; I just want to make sure.

No not yet. You know of each other, but not much. Let's say you've all been here for a few minutes.

As a note, you do all know that you share a common goal.

However, you don't know why. That is something that would need to be discussed.

How are boss fights going to be handled? Are they going to follow Fist of the North Star tradition (1v1 fights for everyone!) or RP tradition (everyone gang up on this one guy!) more closely?

Everyone gang up on one guy, when applicable (I.E., the final boss fight)

in others your guys may be too busy fighting off goons to fight the bossman of the area

1 on 1 is kinda boring cause we can't do totally hella legit combo attacks

Combo attacks can be a thing if you try hard enough!

Alright. Just a heads up, that means Kokuto's probably going to opt out of most boss fights, since he believes ganging up on a single foe is dishonorable. The only reason he'd do so is if he's lost in a berserker rage (e.g. he's fighting NERO).

He'll probably get his ass kicked a lot if he keeps trying to be the hero and duel the bosses designed for five of us to fight at once.

Probably, but that's a part of who he is. As a Nanto Seiken practitioner, he's been raised on the Fot NS honor system, and he takes that shit seriously.

If nothing else, he can serve as a kinda-sorta foil for the rest of the group and maybe double as a deconstruction of the mentality of classic Fot NS warriors.

Well, to be fair, I'd much rather be able to play him straight. But if that's not possible due to his beliefs and the RP clashing, then I'm willing to try playing him as a deconstruction. If that ends up not being fun (or others find it annoying), and it doesn't make sense for him to change, I'll just drop out.
