As briefly discussed in the General Page Quotes discussion, I Thought It Was Forbidden may need some repair help. Leaving aside its dialogue title and apparent lack of YKTTW, it appears to be confused with what it's trying to be. As it is, the trope is split into two definitions that have completely different narrative elements and the only unifying element between the two is their allusion to the dialogue title.

The first definition describes the lack of side effects resulting from a supposedly Dangerous Forbidden Technique while the second is about protagonists committing unethical acts for the greater good.

I think the first definition is a valid trope, but the second one is a duplicate to I Did What I Have To Do. I also checked some of the wicks, but many of them contextless potholes that explains nothing about the trope's definition and are most likely shoehorning/blatant misuse so a better name might also be necessary.

This one needs a wick check, but from the page it seems about right.
