Missed golden oppurtunities in video games?

You know, like something you'd say to yourself "well, yeah, how could they not put that(character, level, item, song, etc.) in?" and yet it was nowhere to be found. For starters, I'll start with the major player Nintendo. I think leaving Tatanga out of both Mario Galaxy's, Wart out of Dream Team, and not having a bonus Kohilint Island level in WW, PH, or the Wind Waker remake was a kick in the nuts. On the subject, I wasn't especially pleased with the absence of the Tingle Tuner where there such a perfect place for it. Seriously! If it were me, I would've let people use the gamepad, and get special bonuses, like discounts or exclusive items for using the 3ds or XL, and even more bonuses if the DS's have save files from any of the Zelda (3)DS games. Not putting back the dungeons that were unfinished in the first place was admittedly a downer, albeit an understandable choice.

I remember everyone thought it was a shame that Omega from MegaMan Zero 3 couldn't just have Zero's original character design.

Oh, yes, I heard about that.
