Last I checked, tomorrow is not October 7th.

Or mattpat is a thirsty internet personality who owes a significant amount of success to Cawthon's work.

Not trying to kiss Cawthon's ass, but he knows what brings in the lion share of his viewers.

I was going to say you weren't a fan of Game Theory but... now I'm not sure.

I mean you're not wrong, but in a world where Pewdiepie can make a living/fortune off of Youtube sponsorship, Mat Pat doesn't bother me. He's not everyone's cup of tea, but you have to admit, he puts more thought and research into his theorizing than most fans do, and his efforts at consistency and conceding debunked theories while still being visually entertaining are commendable. Without being hostile towards other theories either, as far as I can tell.

And let's be real - 1/3 of FNAF's success is from Cawthon just being a swell guy; the other 2 are probably from Game Theory and Markiplier generating hype and refusing to shut up about the series.

I really don't care one way or another. Just stating a fact. It's kind of a positive feedback loop on all their parts.

That said, Cawthon's arguably the one most responsible in this particular case, given it takes a lot more work to create a video game than it does a Youtube video.

This is going to sound hipster-ish but I feel like I have to say. FNAF was achieving a over the night hit before people like Mat Pat and Markiplier touched it. I don't know exactly were the popularity started rolling but those two getting there hands on it only sealed the deal....

....It also sealed the deal on the series having an obnoxious fanbase. Markiplier (and some of the other L Pers) and Mat Pat do not have the best fanbases. Unfortunately considering how large the fanbases are this is inevitable and the L Pers getting in on it basically signed the death of the series for dumbass hipsters everywhere.

It may take a lot more work, but it does not guarantee similar levels of exposure.

I wish I could disable You Tube comments completely. I love "I've Got No Time" but the sheer circle jerk that is the thousands of comments where someone claims what the song is "really" about followed by dozens of congratulations, every single time, is annoying as hell.

Less than a week to go. Or potentially any day. However, close as we are, I almost wonder if this time Scott will actually keep to his announced schedule.

As I've been saying, he probably wants to avoid rushing it like he did F Na F World.

The Story of ''FNAF: Sister Location'' apparently gets so dark that it makes Scott sick. It's apparently so dark that he may delay the game and retool it to be more kid friendly. Either that, or release it on time; neither is confirmed so far.

I'm interested. Personally, I want FNAF to be as dark as possible.

Yeah this is most likely a troll because you do not announce a potential overhaul three days away from release. I expect it to come out today.

Shucks I wonder if we'll have vaguely explained child murders that involve 8-bit pixel children murdering other 8-bit pixel children this time. That would be dark. I don't think I'd let my kid play that sort of game. -_-

I can honestly say I missed Five Nights at Freddy's now, which is weird.
