In 1980, this famous science documentary was released. It has been critically acclaimed for its writing and visuals, and it is still the most viewed PBS series worldwide. If you want my thoughts, I think that this series is a great one, it has good writing and visuals, and it makes one think sometimes. What are your thoughts about this series and why? Discuss this series.

In November 2014, currently being repeated on BBC 4. Compared to modern science docus it feels a little bit slow-paced and flat: but there's no denying it's still worth watching. That evocative soundtrack can still send shivers down the spine!

Male, early sixties, Cranky old fart, at least two decades behind. So you have been warned. Functionally illiterate in several languages.

I wish it would come back to Netflix. The visuals are at times dated, but I love the pacing, passion, and of course the score.

A Spacetime Odyssey's music was pretty good, but it doesn't feel fully like Cosmos without that haunting Vangelis style from A Personal Voyage. I would've liked it to sound like "Vangelis played by an 80-piece orchestra".
