Favorite and least favorite features of the 7th generation consoles

also includes the 8th generation

FAVORITE FEATURES:

Hard Drives add extra space and wipe out the need for memory cards

Better graphics, though it's not much of a plus for me.

full orchestrated soundtracks. I love film scores and video games using orchestral scores gives me that vibe

the AAA games that are made for those consoles are fun.

The backwards compatibility means that you only need one console (and I don't like it when a modern console doesn't include it)

online shopping services (XBLA, PSN, eShop/Wii Shop Channel) because I can download retro games and I am a stickler for retro games.

LEAST FAVORITE:

I don't see the point of having Netflix, Youtube, and Hulu because most people own computers and having these services on the consoles plus having a computer with internet access makes them redundant. Especially if your comp is in the same room as your Wii/360/PS 3/Wii U/PS 4/Xbone It does defeat the purpose of having a dedicated gaming console if people only use those consoles for Netflix.

I think the whole voice chat thing gets annoying after a while.

I'm going to close this thread, not because it's a complaint thread per se, but because each of the consoles already has a dedicated thread and this conversation would be redundant. Plus, the console wars are bad enough without deliberately provoking them.
