This sounds more like a Stock Phrase than a suitable descriptive replacement for "Wafer Thin Mint". And I think it's hardly descriptive of the trope at all... to me it more conveys someone finally having enough of a nuisance.
I think a better name for this trope would be "Tiny Tipping Point" or something similar.
