The Assassination of Franz Ferdinand (preview online)

Saw this recommended over at Giant in the Playground, and thought, as the creator did, that now was the time to post about it.

Here's the preview. Prints of the first volume are due out in November, presumably on the 11th although they don't explicitly say so.

If it reminds me of anything, call it a humanities-major Cryptonomicon. Odd-duck protagonists of no immediate relation to one another trace back their genealogy to a global conflict that affects them in surprising ways to this day, with buttloads of philosophy and social commentary on the way.

Can't wait to see the finished product.
