I have to share a anecdote here.

You see I have a female friend who start filtring with BDSM(writing sub/dom stories or including them in our fantasy setting, seen BDSM forum, etc) so I want to be a suportive guy about this so I decided to buy the whole book seen everyone was crazy about including my friend.

So after arguing about my father that I can buy the book even if about some "crazy thing people like today"(yeah my dad is a little bit of a grumpy bear) I went to inform my female friend...only to learn she meet some Dom and after learing BDSM at first experience said that 50 shade just suck ass and hard....

To said that I was piss is was a understandment, somehow I trolled myself with this..I mean Im happy for her....but damn. what a bad luck I have.

But enought about me, I want to ask something...is christan worst than edward? for what I see Edward is an absuing jerk but went more about controling bella life while christian have some sadistic pleasure in making Anastacia suffer

At least Edward tries to control himself and keep away from Bella. It's really Bella who's more hated as a person.

I don't think anyone answered, but how is the book series homophobic???

Edward is a saint compared to Christian. As stated, he tried to keep away from Bella. Also, he has stalker tendencies and is controlling, but he never actually hurt her. He was only trying to protect her in his own messed up way.

Not to say Edward wasn't psychologically abusive, he was. Christian is just worse, and has far less sympathetic motives for what he does. And apparently he's even less sympathetic in the books and sequels.

And Deadpool booted its arse out of the record books by taking its "biggest opening in February", and "biggest President's Day weekend" titles. Must have been a better Valentine's Day date movie too. 8-)

I'd rather date Deadpool than Christian Grey.

I'd rather date Deadpool too. Not only is he into men (where Christian Grey is into women and I'm sure I read somewhere he's kind of homophobic, but I could be wrong) he doesn't mind getting kinky but he's EXCITED about getting kinky and not mellow dramatic about it. Also, he understands the meaning of safe words.

And he's a generally all around fun guy to be with.

I haven't read the books fully (i don't think i'd be entertained enough considering the content is both boring and offensive), but I know for a fact that Christian Grey is a rapist and a domineering asshole. He's one of the worst male love interests I have ever seen.

[up]He is distasteful and a rapist yes. He also blames Anasthia for getting pregnant (with his child of course) and physicality abuses her for it (despite she was carrying a child). Someone who was sane would of realized that the blame lies on both sides of the couple for committing the act without protection.

Christian Gray being the narcissistic abusive figure that he is never realizes that of course. Deadpool would certainly be a far better love interest then him and he isn't the most mentally stable person either.

The fact that Edward is a better person then Grey is just plain sad. I was forced to give Edward a compliment....ugh....
