Xavier isn't a monster, he's just very flawed and at times morally ambiguous in his drive to protect mutants.
Nova is an outright sociopath who engineered a genocide and tried to take over Xavier's body.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."She also caused the Shi'ar empire to implode but that was just funny.
Forever liveblogging the AvengersLogan's outfit in this film is particularly hilarious in context with the Bryan Singer films making a dismissive joke about "yellow spandex". How far we've come, indeed.
I really wonder how they're going to handle the idea of him being one of many variants that Wade might attempt to recruit. I feel like it devalues the relationship a little if he's picking from a menu.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Maybe he's the only available option. Matthew Macfadyen's line in the trailer that this Wolverine failed to save his world does suggest that he's been chosen for whatever purpose as a last resort.
That's possible. We won't understand the context of Wade meeting this particular variant of Logan until we understand the TVA's role, I suspect, and that may have to wait for the release.
I may lock down on trailers and promos from this point onward to avoid any more spoilers than possible.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Believe Friday would mark three months until the film releases.
How well do we see Deadpool & Wolverine doing at the box office? The trailer is at 26 Million views on YouTube after three days, which I think bodes well.
The Owl House and Coyote Vs Acme are my Roman Empire.Frankly, I don't care at all. I'll be there opening day. But I have a feeling it's going to do really well if word of mouth ends up being good. Could be another billy for the MCU if the marketing keeps up.

"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Pretty sure Marvel Jesus could be the first winner in a while for the MCU.
Forget opening day, I’m gonna be there Thursday night for the previews.
The Owl House and Coyote Vs Acme are my Roman Empire.Adam Warlock? Silver Surfer? Nathan Christopher Summers? That one guy from Ghost Rider?

Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).Pretty sure Marvel Jesus could be the first winner in a while for the MCU.
I feel like everyone is conveniently forgetting about Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, which grossed over $845M worldwide amidst alleged peak "superhero fatigue". Oh, and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, which earned $859M.
The MCU could be a case study in how counterfactual narratives build up in society based on nothing more than confirmation bias.
Anyhoo, I'm determined not to be part of that problem, as I was at every Phase 4 and 5 film on its opening weekend and will continue to be for as long as I'm able. D&W is in full send, "Let's Fucking Go" mode.
Edit: I wonder how they're going to cut a green-band trailer. Lotta cursing in this one.

"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"What about Jossed Bias? Where theories we have get proven wrong?
Anyways, yeah, Wade and Logan action will be fun.
Robin: Don't ever ask me to dock with you again. Serious...Guardians was one movie ago. One flop and everyone forgets the timeline.
It was one movie and one Secret Invasion ago.
But yeah, I agree. It's going to do well. Marvel going to be happy it's doing to do well but it lets not doomsay or anything.
I'mma lifesay instead, how 'bout them apples? We'll have snowman building, Hugh Jackman in a comic-accurate outfit, and Mutantmania kicking off like crazy. Maybe even Colossus being a really good older brother to someone.
Robin: Don't ever ask me to dock with you again. Serious...I really want them to make a “what did you expect, black leather?” joke in the film. Like… a bookend, of sorts.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain....A particularly cathartic bookend, if I'm going to be completely honest with you. I want Bryan Singer, wherever the hell he is, to see this film, see Hugh Jackman in that incredibly yellow and blue outfit, and I want him to seethe and mald at this suit. I want everyone who was responsible for the Early 2000's superhero films, having that look of all black suits, to writhe.
Robin: Don't ever ask me to dock with you again. Serious...I still think the black looked cooler
Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).How things turn. We probably wouldn't have the current glut superhero films if the X-Men hadn't toned things down and made them acceptable to audiences.
I think that's the thing, superhero films such as Dark Knight and X-Men made the concept of superheroes more 'palatable' for general audiences after mixed success before hand by portraying everything as dark and serious. This allowed the MCU to form which had that 'seriousness'. The MCU's success then allowed for more 'weirder' and, though serious, less grounded works like Guardians of the Galaxy, Wandavision, Doctor Strange and Thor Ragnarok to be created.
When the X-Men films first released, bright costumes might have been balked at. Now, due to the success of those films increasing respect for superhero films as a medium, the bright costumes are wanted.

Is that who she is.
Sounds interesting. Seems like she has more telekinetic abilities, judging from how she was manipulating Wolverine's limbs.
Her backstory from the comics seems... odd. I've heard Charles Xavier is a monster in the comics so the idea of him having an evil twin who was bred from some sort of cosmic spiritual process is odd.
Logan going from trying to give Xavier a good death to actively trying to kill his evil twin is ironic.
