Bumpity bump. Anyone out there playing this game? I finished the story mode last night, and am looking to start playing with people to get the multiplayer stuff. Either I've had appalling bad luck, or the random matchmaking is terrible. Tried to join people several times in the Newton's Airship level, and it always timed out one way or another. And what's with having to accept an invite to join a game anyway? What was wrong with it just taking you straight in? I'm also missing an item on the first level where Newton does tutorial stuff, and I have no idea where it is and it's going to drive me mad.

Which version?

Uhh, GB? It says Little Big Planet 3 (GB) on the menu, so I guess that's it.

Ah, then I might be able to help you out. I play fairly regularly and I've aced and looted all the story levels. Of course, the online connectivity has been fairly bad, and we're pretty far apart location wise, but it's still worth a shot. My PSN name is the same as my username here. Add me and hit me up sometime. PSN is in maintenance right now though.

Yes, it is, to my continued annoyance. I can't get in at all.

I tried to get into some people's games again earlier, but again, every single one failed, except a couple where I was simply refused entry by the host.

This is pretty bad, really, for a game that's meant to played online. I remember the first game had problems too. I could get into a game, but the lag was shocking and rendered it unplayable. They fixed it eventually, and I'd have hoped they'd have done a better job two games later. It is a different developer though, so who knows?

Plus a new platform. Plus it's cross-platform. In any case, I've heard that another patch is on it's way pretty soon. Oh, and playing through invites tends to be more efficient than trying to get a random game going. Still very difficult though. To be honest, I did most of the x2 areas myself, just using an additional controller.
