Molly giggled as she put an arm around Dawn's waist. She was enjoying this very much. "You'd better listen to our sister, dear...Here's the deal. For one kiss from one of you, I'll answer one question, completely truthfully. For a kiss from both of you, I'll answer three." Most girls knew how much Molly enjoyed her games. She was a pervert, but she was no liar.

That, at least, was enough to make Patty stop in her tracks, hammer hanging limply at her side. She lookd from Dawn, to Molly, and back to Dawn, then to Molly again, her expression growing more and more baffled with every pass. "Are you seriously gonna...?"

She shook her head, the staticy hum around her growing louder. "You can't be serious."

As Xu arrived in the City Plaza she was greeted to Yttrium, glowing brightly and clinging to another Magical Girl who was desprately trying to pry the new girl off of her. Meanwhile it looked like girls not affiliated with he Council were already moving to take her.

Xu was half tempted to rush in and start kicking ass, but Cobalt's words rang in her ear. Be as impulsive and reckless as ever... "Right..." that in mind she slowly started to approach Yttrium, speaking in as soft a voice as she can while remaining on gaurd. "Hi there...my names Xu Lian. I'm an elemental like you. I'm here to help."

Academy Park

Dawn wanted to pull away again, but the deal she was willing to make was too good to just pass up. It was practically free information on whatever the Rebels were up to.

"...Fine," she said to Molly. "But leave Copper out of it."

Downtown Office

The knowing smirk Curie was wearing at that could have cut through titanium (the actual metal not the girl). Everyone always hated to admit it when Curie was right- all the time thanks to the wonders of selective memory- and it made their admissions all the sweeter for her. "Isn't it easier when you just say the truth instead of beating around the bush? And I don't drink beer. Beer is for people without money."

The transmission was cut, and Curie had the poor intern from earlier bringing her her phone, along with the news that the AC had been restored. Her body beginning to cool down and become less sticky, as it were, Curie relaxed her defensive posture. They were still setting up the next shots for her. Time for a few more messages, perhaps...

It was Cereza hosting the party, right? Curie had some patience for Cereza, as the girl was simply too nice to be disliked. Not that Curie would ever admit it. Hence, her tone changed not at all:

I see you couldn't have the party without me this time, darling? I'm flattered, and I'll be attending.

Academy Park

Okay, this was just getting ridiculous. She knew Molly went in for stuff like this, but having Neon actually consider it was too much. She furrowed her brow and stepped forward, aiming to pry the two elementals apart.

"Dawn, quit indulging her. Y'know we can manage this without making out with each other." She tried to sound as stern as possible there, but it didn't quite come across. She'd never been the authoritative type.

Plaza

A thick cloud of Silicon dust enveloped Antonia, and as it parted she stood up, dressed now in her Magic... uniform. She still kept her distance, however. Her spear, Vox, was still in her car, but she doubted she'd need it right now. "You're among friends. You know the periodic Elements? Hydrogen, Oxygen? I'm Silicon. We come out of... somewhere, and just sort of form together. If we die, we reincarnate and it happens again. Right now, you don't remember any of that, you're scared, and you don't know who you are, but I understand that. My first few weeks were rough too, but I can help you." She stepped a little closer. "Let's start with a name. What do you want to be called?"

Plaza

Naomi nodded at Antonia's words and turned to the frightened Yttrium. "See? There you go you get to choose your own name. How many people can say they've done that? Now, then...kid I'm Naomi, I won't let anyone hurt you or take you anywhere you don't want to go. But I really need you to calm down and not blow us all up."

The blonde stared into the other girl's eyes, despite the squint inducing light. "Can you do that much for me?"

The fiery girl also distantly noted the yelling of someone she thought was a rebel. She whipped her head in that direction. "Oi! Neither the time nor the place could'ya at least wait ten minutes before trying to brainwash her? The council cheerleader is at least showin' that much restraint."

"Without fighting?" Dawn asked rhetorically. "How much more of the city do you want damaged?" She turned her attention back to Molly. "You get one kiss. And if you go any farther than that..." Dawn's lance appeared again in her hand, a silent threat. "Deal?"

QQ ran forward, transforming as she did so and sliding to a halt across from Naomi and Antonia, with Yttrium in between her and the two Council lapdogs.

"Oh, I'm brainwashing her, am I? You just want to use her as a puppet for the Council! If she doesn't want to waste her life fighting stupid pointless fights, don't make her, ya whores!" She shook her fist at them.

"I swear to—" Antonia took a deep breath and covered her eyes for a moment. She turned to the dumb bitch. "Please... please act like an adult, ma'am. I'm not Council, nor am I a fucking rebel, but then again you didn't exactly listen to me, did you now?" She glared at QQ. "If you actually recognized me from when I was on the cover of Businessweek, maybe you'd know that Antonia Berzelius is fully capable of taking in a girl for the month or so she'd need to get a home, food, an ID... god, you're stupid."

Academy Park

Okay, that one cut a little deep. Patty'd always had a rough time with property damage, especially during her early years when she got a little too overzealous with her "duties". Didn't help that a lot of times she had to smash something open just to get a charge. But this? This was getting to be too much, and the idea of actually wreaking other people's stuff wasn't as much as a concern as not letting what was about to happen happen.

"So what, we just let her walk and do even more damage later on? We're takin' her in." She gripped her hammer tighter, muscles tensing. She was about a second away from just up and bricking this skeevy sap's teeth in right then and there.

City Plaza

"Ah...Ah...Eh..." Tears were forming in Yttrium's eyes. Her body and eyes were cycling through the whole color spectrum, over and over again due to the stress. "So many people...So many questions...So much yelling...I don't...I don't know what's going on...I just...I just don't understand...I don't feel safe...Can you make me feel safe?"

"One Kiss. One Question. That's the deal~" Molly trailed her arms around to Dawn's backside and leaned in, pushing her lips up against Dawn for a few moments, passionately. She pulled away with an airy breath. "Ahh...I'll have to remember that taste~ Slip me some tongue next time and that'll be worth 5 questions. Eheheh."

Plaza

QQ quickly stepped forward and wrapped an arm around Yttrium.

"Shh, shh, I'll make you feel safe. I have a friend, back there." She pointed in the direction she had come from. "Asteria is her name. You'll be safe with her. Trust me. I won't let these mean girls trick you, sis." She smiled, though it was a somewhat twisted smile. Then she stepped between Yttrium and the other two girls.

"If you want her, you're gonna have to go through me."

Academy Park

Dawn took a few moments to recompose herself again, her neon lights flickering on and off. She gave Molly a look that said exactly how averse she was to the thought of tongue before asking her question.

"What is the rest of your group planning besides acting like a thorn in the Council's side? I know you've been trying to recruit Elementals for some purpose, and I doubt it's just for their own benefit."

Plaza

"Hang on, then..." Antonia slid her gaze over to Naomi and nodded to her. "Can you keep an eye on that bitch for..." She swiveled again, eyeing her distance to her car.

"You've got five minutes, tops. I need Vox, and I need my pants." She fast-walked away, headed for her car.

Naomi glared at Antonia. "Fine, I guess."

She turned her glare on QQ. "I'm not letting you indoctrinate her into your damned war."

Her gaze softened as it focused on Yttrium. "Kid, trust me. Neither side is gonna make you feel safe, they'll just get you killed. Stick with me and you'll have a better chance, that's not an offer I make for nothing."

Naomi slammed a fist into her palm and four slabs of a silver-white metal enclosed her in a pyramid. After a moment the pyramid caught fire before exploding in a brilliant white fireball. The fire cleared away to reveal Naomi in her magical girl form. "Let's just all stand reaaaaaal still."

City Plaza

Yttrium whimpered when QQ grabbed her. She stood close to Naomi, scared as ever.

"Hmmm...Good question. As far as I know, we're recruiting as many elemental girls as possible, and raising hell. I think our leader wants to put the Council on the chopping block. Don't forget, us Rebels aren't the only ones that have a problem with your little club. I'm pretty sure the humans might start getting a bit uppity. Ah, and it's possible I may have heard on the grapevine that there could be a large-scale attack planned in the future. But truthfully, I don't know anything about that. Could just be hearsay. Any more questions?~"

City Plaza

"Silver. Platinum. Hurry up already..." She thought she might have had an ally in Silicon but that was gone now. For now she looked at Naomi and QQ two possible enemies. And she was all alone. She had to keep trying though. "Hey that's not true. The council is here to protect everyone." she was addressing all three of them now. "Without the Council this world would be a whole lot scarier. We keep people safe from magical threats, and us Elementals can find each other so we can be together. All three of you should come with me."

"WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Cereza yelled out as she dropped into the plaza, already transformed. "Cereza the Platinum reporting for duty!" She then pointed her gundagger wielding leg at the two rebel Elementals. "Back away slowly and nobody gets hurt~!" She said with a smile.

Plaza

Desperado was trained on Cereza in an instant. The gun began spinning menacingly. "Put it the fuck down and pull up a chair, we're having a discussion like civilized goddam people." Naomi snarled at the new arrival.

"I have been having a bad fucking day and I will fucking shoot you."

Gwyn's Workshop

"Right then. Send me her location and I'll make my way there as soon as I can." The Iron Maiden said as she shut off the hologram device before walking over to her closet and fetching her custom riot shield. "This should be fun..."

Academy Park

Patty couldn't help but grimace at the sight of Molly forcing herself on Dawn. The things you had to do in this line of work. Still, she at least appreciated Neon's dedication here. She definitely wouldn't be willing to put up with this for the sake of information.

Speaking of, the answers they got out of it were most certainly not worth the price of admission. Just how vague could you get? The hint about the attack was sorta helpful, but other than that she might as well have just told them nothing. Fuck it, they were doing this her way now.

"Nah." She reared back, electricity gamboling up and down the shaft of her hammer, and swung it hard and fast into the side of the rebel element's head with a sound like cracking thunder. The shock, combined with the force behind it, would be enough to kill your bog standard human being. But it'd been pretty well established that neither of them were exactly vanilla when it came to mystical muscle, so it wasn't a huge concern for her.

"Think we're just about done here."

"Just about... 5 possible targets. Main lens array is working perfectly, solar cells overclocked."

Asteria looked up, irritated. "It just had to be overcast. You'd think I could power this thing with Yttrium's big ol light blasts, but apparently not." She said to no one in particular but herself.

She refocused on her weapon. She didn't really need to transform just yet. Transforming now would blow her cover.

Plaza

Antonia popped open her trunk. Inside laid a gleaming shaft of metal—Vox, her spear and weapon of choice. She hefted it into her hand, felt the balance still as right as ever, then slammed the car closed and headed back to the brewing shitstorm.

"I swear to god, you guys." Antonia strode closer to Yttrium this time, ending up right next to Naomi. "If you can't see the inherent flaw in taking her into Council protection before she even decides to set herself up with a new life, I don't think I can help you. You're all going to step away and we're going to get the newbie here something to eat, and let her figure out who she is, and who she wants to be, free of the judgment or pressure official factional representatives would have. Furthermore, my friend here" Antonia jerked her head at Naomi, "also doesn't think too highly of me, nor I her, but neither of us are going to war against each other. Which makes us the perfect guardians for her, perfect neutral parties for the time being. Now back off."
