The current image we have for the 'ridiculously average guy' is a European (https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/AverageMan1.jpg) even though Europeans are a minority in this world. They're not even, what, 20% of world pop? Yet we seem to be suggesting that Europeans are 'average'! XD

I'd like to...suggest? Vote? Move? That we show this composite-image instead (even though it seems to just be an average of the faces of the world's 28-year-old ethnic-Han men): http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1362709/Typical-human-face-28-year-old-Chinese-man.html

There was already a discussion about this (https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/posts.php?discussion=1327017247038840100), though I'm not sure how they ended up with the current page-image face. Telcontar seems to have said that it was done by averaging (most of) the available faces on this website (http://www.faceresearch.org/). Since the majority of the facial-models for the website are European, it makes sense that averaging them should produce a European.

This is pretty pedantic. The entire difference is an epicanthic fold. Either image gives the "averaging" effect.
