In other words, triumphed over After Alterna. That level was the equivalent of Fizzbangs.
"Some people are damaged. Some people are really damaged. And then... some people are broken."
That level was an actually good final exam to the game though. Final gank squad fight notwithstanding.
Better than slamming your face against a brick wall for three days until you get a gold hairpin
- Team Keyboard: 35.27%
- Team Drums: 32.42%
- Team Guitar: 32.31%.
Looks like Frye isn't going to win after all.
Also, if anyone is interested, here are the results from Japan.
- Lightly Salted: 34.53%
- Seaweed Salt: 32.77%
- Consomme Punch: 32.70%

Ukrainian Red CrossI’ll content myself with the moral victory
Forever liveblogging the AvengersNot surprised that Keyboard has such a strong lead after seeing all those multiplier victories
We'll probably still find a way to choke and come in last, because that's how halftime leaders have been rolling lately. But who knows? Not like I voted for Frye this time
Oh, yeah, that's happening right now.
Booted up the game solely to watch Pearl and Marina perform cause I never experienced 2's Splatfests. Pearl is so cute when she dances.
I've noticed that I never encountered a single mirror match, either in the regular matches or in tricolor.
I wonder how many people joined which teams?
I also love how there's different concerts going on at each of the three cities. If you haven't yet, check them all out!

Did they make ANOTHER map favored to defense?
So far for Tricolor Flounder Heights feels like... yesn't? It's literally an uphill battle for offense, but if you're playing weapons that can fight uphill fine then it balances out. Obviously that's not many weapons, but point is Dread Wringer works wonders here.
🏳️⚧️she/her | Vio Rhyse AlberiaI've been doing surprisingly well in Tri-Color so far, or at least far better than I usually do.
Oh hey, I won my first 100x battle. Go, me.
If you play with fire, you're gonna get burned.
Damn, lucky. I haven't managed it once since the game came out, so stand proud of the 'chievement.

This really has been the absolute most dogshit tri-color to date hasn't it. I'm almost to Ruler and can finally fucking close this shit out finally.
Edit: It legit aggravates me that you can't skip the intro during splatfest where skipping that is more wanted than during regular hours.

I'm halfway through on my current bar, tomorrow I'll fill it up and get to "Guitar Ruler" (also there's no "Hero" so therefore there can't be a Guitar Hero)
If you play with fire, you're gonna get burned. You know what's hype? When drums are trailing the whole fight and then you get to the final minute, literally as the music changes, and literally all of your allies fucking forget how to play the game
Shiver's going to win again, isn't she? God damn it
edit: You know what's even more hype? When this happens in the last 30 seconds. Of a 10x match
This game makes you feel very good when you win, very bad when you lose, and transforms you a salt factory DeviantArt-style when you choke

Nah highly doubt it, the Tricolor's been heavily balanced to be honest
Agreed. It feels like this Splatfest could go to any team.
Won my first 100x battle in the game! I do think this splatfest has a problem with unstable equilibrium though. I don't know why but it feels like in most of my matches one team just gets pushed right to spawn and never gets out
Absolute destiny... apeachalypse?Lost an 100X battle. I have brought shame to Team Keyboard.
In hindsight, I GUESS I could've joined Keyboard instead of Guitar considering my parents made me take piano lessons for a while in the early 2000s (didn't like it though).
If you play with fire, you're gonna get burned.I won a x333 battle last night for team Guitar
Finally, Frye can be proud of me
Forever liveblogging the AvengersThat's just a problem with stage design in Splatoon 3 really. It's very easy to get spawn camped because most of the new stages are just hallways with no verticality or alternate routes to sneak around with. Fizzbangs can work against a team who's getting steamrolled like that because the more you slay the more you get, but it happened plenty before. They can't make a bad trend worse
They're worthless crap that add nothing to the game except more clutter to the screen and your character. Can they be used to some degree of effect? Sure. But the sheer anmoyance far outweights whatever lukewarm d tier utility they bring and are little more than an obvious gimmick to try and breath life to a dying game mode most people only participate in out of obligation(snails really, go get better returns from ranked).
