Suggestion: Ditto Fighter

I didn't notice images had previously been discussed until I uploaded this, but here it is.

That's not bad, but I wonder if having that second panel combined with a panel with the transformed Ditto using one of the other Pokemon's moves wouldn't work better.

Also, perhaps a lighter pic would do nicely as well?

Can absolutely get a picture of the Ditto using Lapras's attack, though it may lose significance unless we have three panels showing Lapras using that attack too.

A brighter picture, I'm looking, but that may not be possible. Most of the Pokemon X and Y footage I'm finding where they fight a Ditto is either not usable quality, the catch it without a battle, or their Pokemon are nicknamed, though if "Ditto transformed into Guardinia!" when the nickname is visible doesn't bother people, I'm cool with it too.

The darkness isn't an issue for me; I can plainly see what's going on in the panels.

Take Two◊, with mentioned three-panel option◊.

The three panel is good.

The text is fine, but do we really need all three images to show two Laprases having a staring contest? Some actual action would be nice, as would something to actually show Ditto transforming into Lapras.

I can easily snap up a shot of Ditto transforming. However, action would not be as illustrative as the text, since the text boxes vanish when the actual attack is performed.

Then a four-five panel pic?^note the fifth panel being the attack animation.

I think multi-panel images where the panels look mostly the same look terrible.

I'd prefer an image with "The wild Ditto used Transform!"(showing untransformed Ditto) + "The wild Ditto used Water Pulse!"(showing transformed Ditto using a water based attack.)

I agree with Rodney. It's weak.

What we would really want here is an animation.

...which I can just about guarantee you ain't gonna happen, so let's work with what we've got.

Well, can get Ditto using Surf. There's no animation since Lapras happens to have an ability that negates Water attacks in the battle, but the text is there.

^^ Yes I think Troacctid means that sequence is like frames of an animation. If there has to be a multi-panel image it should be like frames of a comic.

Can this idea be captured in one?

I meant "one" as in "one frame". So no?

What about just the second and third of that? Still weak but best so far...

At that point we might as well cut out the transformation shot since it's just a black blob.

It just looks like a black mess to me. If you toss out the context of the pre-transformation shot, you might as well drop the transformation shot as well, since you can't make anything out.

Nah, it's obvious the image has been modified to be brighter.
