Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth *SPOILERS AHEAD*

Now this is something I have been thinking about the four bosses we know of: We have Queen of Hearts, a four-armed priest, a doctor and his assistants and a wolf-rabbit-thing. Now, of the four, the priest one really feels like he's the odd one out.

I'm gonna bet that last one is like the Jabberwocky or something.

I'm predicting horrible spider things, myself. The web motif can't be TOTALLY incidental.

I checked back on all the trailers and the last one is definably a rabbit (see here). And I am sure that jabberwocky is a dragon-like creature, so the last one of the four is base on the White Rabbit.

well, i havent really been paying that much attention to Q, believe it or not?

but what little i had seen didnt seem very alice in wonderland-ish.

i dunno, im not particularly familiar with the tale in the first place, and i did see a spider motif which i dont...think? is all that related to alice in wonderland?

and then i started thinking- maybe one of the previous games did the alice in wonderland motif first...? but which one...?

persona 4 maybe? it did have the a down the rabbit hole thing with the tvs...

and which point i promtly realise im kind of delusional regarding games i havent played in years. huh.

oh, btw, im loving the music im hearing from these videos. i didnt have much to say about p3's soundtrack, and p4's was nice overall but at the same time i felt kind of apathetic towards it? but this i can get behind.

I actually decided to check on if Shin Megami Tensei series had any demons based on Alice in Wonderland (aside of Alice, duh), and there are some base on the White Rabbit ("Clock Rabbit" in Devil Children games), Mad Hatter, March Hare, Jabberwocky and Queen of Heart's card minions ("Trump Soldier)"

The spider motif is new, but "blue butterfly caught in spiderweb" has a lot of symbolism for this series.

is the march hare the rabbit alice skins alive in strange journey?

March Hare only appeared in Giten Megami Tensei. The rabbit you are referring to is Hare of Inaba.

It was just a stand-in for the White Rabbit. The Hare of Inaba is sourced from a totally different myth from Izumo.

Just so that every one knows, some one at NeoGAF has gotten a copy of the game already, so spoilers will officially begin, if anything else.

Unfortunately, I don't think they have thread for solely for that game so you have to deal with the community thread. Look out for any post made by user MysticDistance (chibi Minato avatar).

Sorry for the double post, but what time would people get the game and start playing it? I honestly haven't heard anything about the game as of yet.

EDIT: I guess in few hours tops we will get something.

In Seriousness, I'm expecting some of the story to be a plot point in future games. As EP proves, the universe doesn't forget. I'm also getting the feeling that the butterfly in the web is a metaphor for later events in the game. Phil might be planning something.

I think it might simply be that blue butterfly = heroic Persona users in this sense.

I'm still really interested in what exactly is up with Zen and Rei. Like seriously, where is Rei keeping all that American food?

Considering that Atlus themselves have declared the fourth stratum to be the Wham Episode, at least the first post about it should probably be buffered if anyone decides they have second thoughts.

Ain't gonna wait for 3 years until Nintendo's incompetent buffoons release the game over here, so I'll risk Liz's wrath.

So "Heroic Persona users trapped", got it. Through really I think Phil needs our help there, being a butterfly really does have its downsides.

"Elizabeths wrath" is more for the Video streaming sites. Like those people uploading parts online or livestreaming it. Doesn't change the fact it will be a Wham Episode.

Just trying the get a gameplan in place, is all.

And it's a Persona game, so it's probably gonna be out in short order after the US release.

Though, to be sure, I'm fully anticipating some creepy spider Shadows to show up.
