Okay, got a bit confused. Guess the Spanish community gets a slightly different touch, I suppose. Like the trailer.

I think that might be Portuguese, actually. I can't tell the difference between them, but the pic comes from Fox's Brazil branch.

Doesn't really say much of the story but I like that. Very simple and intriguing.

..... well I heard of weirder tie-ins.

... I just find it odd that this version of Chester used to spend his days being a bad influence on people, and he moved more unnaturally because he was an actual puppet!

Why is he speaking in a British accent?

Because he's gone from being cool to being suave and sinister. Remember this version of Chester first appeared tempting Felicia Day to do bad things to people who annoyed her.

Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the Great

That plot point gets introduced really early on. I wouldn't call it a spoiler. Great posters, BTW.

Yeah, the facebook page uploaded about seven or so. The close up of La Muerte looks like she has a cat for a nose.

So... What does disguised Xibalba look like?

Little, kind of hunched over and Gonk-y. Like Maria's dad, except uglier. One of the books has a picture, but the context is spoilery.

Speaking of which, I can't stand Maria's dad. What a dick. I'm sure it was partially intentional, but jeez. You guys'll understand when you see the movie. I just wanted to put that out there.

What scene is this from?

Seeing El Tigre, the director did this with Frida's father but I'll see what you're saying when I see the film.

It's either from before the bullfight when Carlos is trying to get Manolo into his mindset or when he encourages him to go after Maria, leading to the Proposal Tree scene.

The image reminds me of the short Jorge made before this. I can see where elements of the short came into the film. Though 'The Grave Escape' really pushed elements into the film too.

I'd say it takes more from the former than the latter.

I came by to say hello, Mort. I knew you would be here. Also, I hope you had a happy international holiday for people of your profession.

I notice that Chakal has similar shoulder pads that Xibalba has.
