Thoughts on writing a fanfic with someone else

I've been through this. So far, it was pretty good.

But there may be stories to those times that just didn't went so well. Thoughts about it and whether it's a good idea or not from your perspective.

It's great, but you have to really click with the other writer or at least be very good at negotiating with them. In my experience it's better to have one writer and another person who's involved quite deeply in the creative design, something which can suffer if the writer's getting caught up in the daunting task of actually writing.

For me, it was the former... I don't know if I'm willing to try it again though.
