Hm, might had been a regular Chalice then. I forgot.
I want to keep going until I unlock the ability to farm chunks, but I'm not sure it's worth it yet.
The late game hands out chunks like candy. I have two +10 weapons and a +9, and still have tons of chunks at my disposal. It’s twin shards that I’m low on.
You can just buy Twin Shards with echoes and insight.
Chunks and rocks can't be bought with anything but massive amounts of insight.
Generally you don't want to spend Insight on Chunks since they're all over the place in the endgame. Save them for the Rocks.
I am aware. It’s just that I usually have better things to be spending echoes on, and upgrading most of the weapons past +3 isn’t a priority for me on this run. The only one I’ve done in a while is the Church Pick, to replace my Hunter’s Axe.
So save my Insight for the Blood Rock and leave Chunks for the last few areas. Got it.
Lady Maria is dead.
I mean, she was already dead, but I know what you mean.
So the One Reborn, more intimidating than the Tower Knight from Demon's Souls, but easier? I don't know since Tower Knight is fought much earlier that The One Reborn, but the damage I was doing to the latter was absurd. Bad Wolf was right about Chunks coming out like candy in the late game, I found 13 in Yarhar'gul alone.
I find One Reborn kind of not easy really. I've had times where I've beaten him in like 2 attempts but sometimes he's a hassle. Depends on the build.
depends of whether he feels like putting up a fight or not, really. It took me three 1st trying of the boss before I started to see his moves that aren't jokes. Overall, the boss feels very random and can be a walk in the park or a bitch slap in your face even with the same build.
"when you stare too long into the abyss, Xehanort takes advantage of the distraction to break into your house and steal all your shit."I haven't said anything in a while because I've been procrastinating, but I got around to beating both Micolash and Mergo's Wet Nurse. I got some good gems from the Nightmare of Mensis area along the way, which really helped me out. I admit Micolash took me 4 tries to beat, but the Wet Nurse I downed in 2 tense boss fight.
Micolash is seriously the worst From boss of all time I swear to God.
Micolash is a little annoying, but he's way better than Bed of Chaos.
Goddamn right he's worse than the Bed of Chaos.
There's a pattern to the BoC. Once you know exactly where to run it's a cakewalk. Micolash alternates between boring, infuriatingly running away, and fucking bullshit Call Beyond.
M'eh, I agree he's random as shit and sometimes he just doesn't feel like being fair with a call beyond, but most of the time he's way too tame to be worse than bed of chaos.
"when you stare too long into the abyss, Xehanort takes advantage of the distraction to break into your house and steal all your shit."He's one of the easiest bosses in the game if you're willing to be cheap. When you're at the part past his first phase where he's a level below you, just attack him from a distance(with some enforced bullets or poison knives) and he'll keep looping back to that position as long as you stay up there. I do it everytime because ACB is dummmmmb. I actually like his fight because it's different, has great atmosphere and music plus Micolash is one of the few interesting characters in the game. His lines are awesome and the music is good too.
grant us eyyyesss. grant us eyes!!!
AWHOOOOOOOOOO!!!
Rom is worse. Royal Rat authority is worse. loran darkbeast is worse. bed of chaos, centipede demon, they're all worse.
I really regret they cut the best line of micolash from the final game. https://youtu.be/AY_J6GKLTcI?t=61
"when you stare too long into the abyss, Xehanort takes advantage of the distraction to break into your house and steal all your shit."Beat Celestial Emissary, Ebrietas, Gehrman, and Moon Presence. Overall Bloodborne is a great game, with the Chalice design being the only major issue I have with it.
The Fishing Hamlet suuuuuuuuucks
Lemme guess; the Shitwhales?
Yes but not even the ones in the well.
I'm fairly sure you can find the haze extractor outside of root chalices though.
